you hear a small scream far off. a minute later a small otter, pursued by several vermin burst through the bushes. he runs behind fenrir saying " leave taggle alone! me no warra go wif you!"

Stripetail looked up from the table, and went to the door. He opened the door and looked out...

taggle saw the door opene and ran inside. the vermin stopeed in their tracks when they saw the humongis badger

"Taggle is it?' Stripetail said. "Well you are safe here. please have a seat' he staff glowed as he walked, towards the table. and pulled out a chair for the young otter...

((ok)) "why you staff glow like that?" hem asked in an amazed voice, as he scrambeled up the seat.

"Magic' Stripetail replied simply. "I found that there is not much magic practiced in these lands, I'm almost the only one who does...." He smiled faintly. "I know a great deal of magic, where I came from, magic was far more prevalent... But enough about me..."

"magic?" he asked in a small otter voice. "nevva heard of it" "have you ever had shrimp and hotroot soup?" he asked. it just goes to show.... any otter no matter how old they are likes hotroot soup

"its really really good!" ..."and hot too! lotsa and lotsa pepper!" he says, getting excited

Yeah I know what hootroot soup is.. It's very good. If you want I can make you some. i think I have all the supplied needed to make it..' Stripetail said, a smile growing on his face as he looked at the small Dibbun. "what do you have there in your paw?' he assked seeing the small stone...
