"Sounds good." The monitor replied and sighed heavily. How does he always get into situations like these?

"Lemme see what I've gotten here" Sandjo opened his sack and started pulling out wrapped packages of food. "I don't know what lizards like to eat, but If you want something in particular, i'll try and get it for you"

He thought about the hedgehogs offer for a moment, but eventually shrugged it off. He doubted Sandjo to be able to... get the kind of meal he preffered. "Right now, anything will do." He replied honestly.

He moved beneath the many covers, got into a sitting position and accepted the wrapped package once he freed one of his claws. "Thanks." He replied after a while and started unpacking the package. "What is it?"

Cherry cake, it is then. Sounded good. Unpacking the cake, the monitor lizard started to devour the cake with an almost greedy appetite and finished the small meal by licking his claws clean. The cake certainly was good. "Not bad. Not bad at all. Your quite a cook. Thanks again."

"I've got more. Eat as much cake as you like" Sandjo said, tossing his knapsack to Sek.

Now that was an offer he certainly wouldn't refuse. Sek-Raktaa caught the knapsack and immediately started to plunder it for these delicious cakes. Once he was satisfied, he put the knapsack on the ground beside him, relaxed and sighed. "Thanks again. I do feel much better now."

Sek-Raktaa paused a moment, deep in thought. "Well, there's not much to tell actually. I'm just your average travelling mage who tries to earn his keep these days." He shrugged. "I thought the reward for this artefact would feed me a couple of days."

"A Mage, eh? So you know magic? Interesting? Well, we're all trying to earn our keep in these days. " Sandjo chuckled.

"Indeed." Sek-Raktaa replied nodding. He continued to stare into the flames of the fire before he addressed the hedgehog again. "So, what do you do?"

Well, I've a traveller really. Had a mate, but she died young. When she died, I started travellin'. Haven't stopped since then." Sandjo replied. "I've run across a lot of good beasts, and a lot of scum. But not too many magic-users, them's a rare lot."

"Really?" The monitor replied and blinked a couple of times. He shrugged finally. "Well, looks as though I am far away from home. Back where I come from, magic users are nothing rare."
