Once she finished, Yaminn looked over the raft, searching for any crack and plugging each one with a fat leaf or two. "Finished." she said once the cruse vessel met her criteria.

'Let's set sail" Stripetail and Yamminn picked up the raft and carried it down to the shore. Stripetail handed a branch to to her and used the other to push off. The raft slowly floated away out into the open sea.

She shook her head. "No, I need to find a safe, peaceful place before he joins me. If anything happened to him while we were traveling... I mean, he's so young. Anything could happen."

Suddenly, Yaminn saw her husband standing on the shore with a bunch of slingers. "Uh-oh... Lord Stripetail, sir, I think he's spotted us!"

Keep rowing, "Stripetail said as he held up his staff " Torrin Sendar. "A blast a light raced from his stasff towards the slingers. Stripetail heard their scared screams the blast hit the ground sending them backwards into the air. They got up and ran away from the shore leaving the chief alone.Stripetail pointed his staff at him "Go back to your village, I have no quarrell with you and am leaving of my own accord. Your wife has joined me of her own free will. Let us go in peace, I will keep the location of your village secret."

"Never! I will never listen to you!" the chief howled melodramatically as he threw his spear at the raft.
Yaminn gasped and ducked as the large spear barely missed her and hit the water with a splash.

Yaminn smiled as the still angry chief became harder and harder to hear. "Bye bye!" she said sarcastically with a jovial wave as they sailed off.

Stripetail turned away and began rowing. The chief was now just a tiny speck in the distance. " I hope you'll never have to meet your husband again" he said to Yaminn. "Your meeting would not be a pleasant one"
