Ripfang tore his cloak off and draped it over the cave entrance, it blended in with the hill,"There, build your fire. My cloak is specaily made to block and hold in light and heat." He sat down against a wall, his runes dimed and shined only slightly.

Haydn reached a paw out, Ripfang's cloak draping over his arm, and grabbed a pawfull of old sticks and loam under the bushes. He shook the dusty snow from the twigs and handed them to the hare, "s'better then nothing, " he said with a shrug.

Goldenpaw rubbed the sticks togetber quickly, and soon had a small flame going. He tossed the burning sticks, and tossed some more sticks on top of them. Soon a small fire was burning in the cave, and the flames warmth was very welcome.

The wolf crouched down beside the small flame, his tail limp on the ground, catching the smallest ribboms of firelight. Without looking up from the fire, he muttered, " About before.... the bow... I'm sorry."

Ripfang scracthed at the runes on his body,"They itch more and more each day." He looked off his eyes clouding a bit, he seemed dreaming while he was awake. He kept scratching and tore flesh causing little streams of blood."Hmmm, magic...sister...no." He scratched harder drawing more blood.

After a long pause, Haydn spoke, freshly, "So, are we going to stay the night here or try and cover a little more ground, assuming these beasts are still chasing us."
