In the obscuring mists of the Moores, Silas strode, looking around the area as he marched. The mist enshrouded most surroundings, and he had to be ready for anything. After three (Or he thought) days on the move, they were roughly halfway there. He looked up the path, and narrowly avoided stubbing his footpaw on a sizeable rock on the path.

Up ahead on the path, unawares of the squirrel, a wolf lay to the side of the path, asleep. He was laying with his gray back on the ground and his head on the haversack, snout pointing at the sky. The creature was wearing only two leather boots and a belt, the latter housing tools and herbs while both contained several Kunai, good for throwing. The wolf had a twig in his lips, which threatened to slip out as his body went up and down in breathing.

Belko sighed as he trudged through the moores with Silas. It had seemed so very long since the encounter with Xylon on the plains. But the worst part was, it had been a boring, uneventful trip. The blue-tailed squirrel was really starved for action. "By the Tree mate. Ye di'n't mention this trip'd be so... boring," said, he was in a bad mood as he had not even got a small bit of pay since this journey had began.

"This is the first and most boring leg... or so I've been told." He glanced up the path once again, making out an irregular blob on the side of the path. He eyed it a moment longer, feeling even more uneasy. Instinctively he gripped his swordhilt as he drew near the obscured blob, now coming into focus.

OOC: You are so mean! Blob! *Starts to sob*
The stick fell from the wolf's mouth, who was still dozing on is haversack, legs crossed and claws laying on his soft underbelly.

Great... that guy again? Silas recognized the wolf now, and tried to be as quiet as possible as he stepped nearer. His paw lifted his sword an eighth out of its sheath in preperation of some kind of suprise attack.

The wolf slept on, not conscious of the enemy inching closer, breathing deeply.

((It's not Xylon))
Belko halted his partner as e continued to walk near the wolf. He silently motioned to a nearby tree and swiftly and silently crept towards it. Climbing it swiftly, he drew his blowpipe and a couple darts and motioned Silas to move towards the wolf.

OOC: What do you mean?
The wolf breathed heavily, wandering amongst the mists of dreams.

((OOC: Kunai is left, Sherkin at right. I should know. I made one out of paper a week ago.))
Silas moved closer to the wolf, seeing Belko motion him to do so. His sword was now inching its way out if its scabbard, as quietly as he could manage.

OOC: Either way, context clues would suggest it's not a beast..."while both contained several Kunai..."
Xylon's eyes flickered open for a moment as he mumbled something in his sleep before closing them and dozing again.
OOC: Every time I post, until you guys do something, I have to find some way to say "He's still ****en asleep,"

Belko winked and twitched his tail as he rose the pipe to his mouth in preparation.
