CrossFire's red fur was visable he was a handsome fox but about halfway worthless when it came to good or evil he was neither he saw a young duck and drew his arrow and was about to shoot when..
OOC: someone stop him from shoooting the duck in someway lol

Azrael had been watching the red fox for about a half hour, following him like a shadow. She was suspicious about everyone, most of all those of the vulpine kind becasue they were the most cuning generally. As she watched on she saw the fox take aim at a young duck that had yet to reach maturity. Quickly she moved from the shadows, snatching the arrow from the air as it flew toward the duck and threw it to the ground at the fox's feet....

CrossFire raised his eyebrow and said in anonchalant voice "Umm it seems you have deprived me of my dinner good sir may I ask why"? he said fitting the arrow back into his pouch

Turning, Azrael spooked the young duck away so that it would no longer be in harms way.
"It would have upset the balance of things if you had taken that duck before it's time...It has yet to gain it's adult plumage." she said loweing the hood of her robe and turning back to the fox, "I am Azrael WhiteCrane."

OOC: No, a black female otter from east. Read Azrael's char. description.
Azrael stepped closer to the fox, her ice blue eyes contrasting eerily against her black fur as she gave him a warning glare not to trifle with her.
"One is never far from food if one takes the time to look and knows where to look." she said with arms crossed, nodding towards a bush behind the fox where two doves were perched in the protective lattice of it's branches.

CrossFire broke out laughing rubbing his stomache "Well Riverdog it looks like you know what you barking about haaha I haven't eaten in three days and food has been with me all along hahaaa well my mate at least your pretty smart I'll give you that heehee "!he fell to the ground rolling and laughing he barked and howled untill he was almost out of breath

Azrael looked scornfully at the fox then to the bush where the two doves had been. They had quickly fled when the fox had begun laughing and howling.
"I may be wise but you are quite unwise because you did not seize your opportunity to fill your empty stomach. Though I doubt that is the only thing that is empty about you, I would dare say that your head is a bit on the empty side too." Azrael sneered.
Quickly she plucked a large leaf from the low hanging bows of a nearby tree and poured the contents of a small bag that hung from her belt. The bag's contents were pine nuts she had gathered int he south during her travels. Azrael left them on the ground by the fox then left, retreating to the forest shadows.....

The fox snorted in comtempt "Blasted Riverdog can't taka liddle joke even when itsa not 'bout him oi well " he started eating the berries thinking thoughtfully to himself

Azrael paused, shook her head then continued on. She did not care what the fox said considering that she had a general disregard for their kind. Though generaly the ones she had encountered before were nothing but evil, this fox was slightly different. She would have to watch him but from a distance....

CrossFire layed down his head but his ear pricked and he saw two stoats walking through the woods their armour clashing violently against leaves and boughes they came apon the fox and prodded him with their spears "Oi waz duh we 'av 'ere a liddle red foxxer think he be fit 'ta eat Mell"? The other stoat licked his chops "'E may do though it woun't be funner if Rhita catches us 'atin a foxer she's a foxer ya know". CrossFire knew what they were saying but he was afterall a fox therefor he had a plan he opened one eye " 'Aye me mateys don't I 'ave a say in this "? the stoats nodded no The fox shrugged "Oi well oi guess I'll have to state my opinion"! he clenched his fist and punched the brown stoar in the jaw sending him toppling backwords and his head getting stuck in a tree stump The other charged CrossFire's sword whirled and the stoats head lay on the ground a few inches from his body

Azrael crouched among the shadows as she watched the fox, but soon decided to see what else lay in the area since she had yet to come this way in her travels. Silently she slipped off, only minutes before two stoats passed by where she had been. As she walked she felt a certain amount of unease as though she was being watched. Her feeling was soon justified when she came around a large tree an met two more stoats face to face. The pair looked at her in surprise but Azrael did not give them a chance to react as she quickly slammed the head of the one closest to the tree against it and laid the other out flat in the same movement. With the two momentarily distracted she quickly fled back the way she had came. Aarael came skidding out into the clearing where Crossfire was, bouncing slightly on her paws as she waited for the two stoats to come chasing after her and deciding which way to take them next...

Mingol panted "Oi we'll never catch 'er now we'd betta go pull Draken from that stump idiot". they walked back the other way only to come face to face with the fox... a few minutites after three stoat bodies lay on the ground the other one was still stuck in the tree Crossfire yawned and wiped his sword but yet more trouble was coming a huge weasle with bug muscular soilders swaggered over he grinned at the fox "Fresh meat"! Crossfire gulped The weasle leapt apon him and began strangling him to death "Agggmphh"! he howled muffldy as the weasle smothered him he started seeing stars

Azrael was far away from any danger, and it was evident that the stoats had not followed her. She was about to continue on when a faint sound caught her attention. Even though it was far off and faint she still recognized it as the sound of someone in need. Quickly Azrael ran towards the direction she had heard the sound, bounding through the forest at an alarming rate. As she neared where she believe to be the source of the sound she saw the back of a big weasel who appeared to be hunched over as though strangling someone. Not stopping, Azrael drew her sword, which resembled a broadsword except that is only had a single edged blade and was more curved. With a cry like a banshee she made a running leap at the weasel's unprotected back. She hit him hard, driving her blade home between his shoulders...

The weasle screamed and dropped dead with the sword in his back Crossfire weezed "Lookout ther miss"! a huge rat came behing her with a battleax Crossfire threw his last bit og energy into pushing her away and taking the blow then it all went black the rat howled in triumph but tripped on the weasle and knocked his head on the blade it peirced him dead Crossfire lay on the ground with his arm bleeding and slowly coming off the axe was sticking out of it
