The white-gray wildcat stalked Aliks'andre without a sound, keeping alert and to the shadows. Just when Zalvon figured the time was right to intervene, the monitor came to it's home. It appeared to have a family, obviously poor and defensless. Zalvon quickly scanned his memory to see if lizards were classified as vermin. Then he remembered the warrant and who it was out to. The bounty-hunter silently detached himself from the darkness and started towards the lizard and his family. He was a frightful sight to be beheld. He wore his long black, hooded cloak, bow and loaded quiver slung across his back, hooked wip at his hip. Even more fearsome was his intricate scimitar reflecting the rays of the moon.
((lol, you can tell I'm into the Dark Brotherhood scene right now huh?))

(Now that you tell me, yes.)
Aliks'andre's head perk up and he flicked his tongue a couple of times. He could've sworn to have heard something a moment ago, but now it was gone. He shrugged it off. Maybe his imagination playing tricks on him. He continued his meal.

((I like Medieval))
Zalvon strode casually up to the monitor family and drew his sword, mostly just for the effects of fear, but he doubted the ghetto-dwelling lizards would realize. "Good evening..." he said darkly...

(Sorry to dissapoint you, Signasul, but it's medieval. If it would be 1930's, I would have posted it in the Future Board of the Other Side.)
All three monitors spun around, and backed away the moment they saw the dark intruder. "...Evening..." Aliks'andre replied, his voice quivering with fear. His older sister narrowed her eyes. "If you want to steal something, we don't have anything. Please, leave us be."

OOC: I think I'll join in this little encounter...
The traveler's keen ears picked up a distressed voice, somewhere outside the busy square. The cloaked figure swept toward the sounds, silent as the falling night. After a few moment's walking, the beast realised there was a large, uniquely colored wildcat, who appeared to be terrorizing some monitors. The lizards must be young then, for a fully grown monitor is about the size of a wildcat. The cloaked one advanced cautiously, trying to figure out what was happening.

Zalvon turned to the female monitor with a cheap smile as he replied, "I have no interest in your... minimal possessions my dear. I just happened to notice that your, eh, brother, was out past the curfew for his likes and I have come to exact the punishment," he knew this would strike fear into the lizards' hearts. But, still trying to act the gentlecat, (if you could call what he was doing was being a gentlecat) he reassured the lizards that it would not be death, "Not to worry, at the worst it would be maybe... two months under Sunstripe's labor," he said masking a grin. He was fairly focused on this conversation, but he did notice the tall figure approaching him. Smelled canine... wolf. Zalvon had dealt with wolves before, they were not very common, but when he did encounter one they usually headstrong in their fighting capabilities.
((Dang Xylon, every thread I'm in your involved, lol, just pointing that out))

OOC: IT'S NOT CANINE, IT'S LUPINE, CANINE IS FOR DOGS!!! *Calms down a bit* And yes.
The figure spoke from beneath his hood, his gray face showing no emotion. "And the charges are...?"

OOC: IT'S NOT CANINE, IT'S LUPINE, CANINE IS FOR DOGS!!! (That is certainly something you can say in a more friendly way. Okay?) Aliks'andre's eyes widened upon hearing that. He had heard tales about the beasts under Sunstripe's labor. He didn't want to end up as a living punching ball for the long patrol hares. He started to shiver.

(Well, it certainly didn't appear very friendly to me. Regardless of what you might call it, my answer remains the same. That is something you can write in a less offensive way.)

OOC: ...Okay, the more like a psychologist a person gets, the less peaceful I get. Please. Don't crawl all over someone just because you take something the wrong way.
