OOC: Oh come on! It's just sleepy potion! *Shoots at Darkaire*
When he saw the blood, Xylon immediately regretted his action, but of course hid the emotion, growling maliciously. "What do you want anyway," he inquired, casually eyeing the claw he had struck her with. A few light rain drops pitter-pattered upon his shoulders as he did, giving the rest of the day's forecast.

[ ooc: *writes with sharpie on a poster that magically appears* and what are you gonna do to me once I'm ASLEEP? EH? ]
"I don't know," she admitted numbly, still licking at her paw. She felt a small trickle of thick liquid run at the top of her throat, but ignored it. Her ears twitched as they felt the rain, too, but she ignored that as well. If it rained harder, it would take care of the blood. If it didn't, she'd wash it off later. "I-I'm sorry. I guess I shouldn't bother you until I know what I want..." she muttered, using her teeth to dig out a bit of dried blood attached to her fur.

The wolf sighed at her resentful tone. Why me? But turning away, he slipped out the nutrient potion and a few bandages, tossing them behind himself. "Clean yourself up," he groaned, walking past the tree and onto the travelers' road.

Ritari watched with wide, ressentful eyes as he left her for the second time. What was wrong with him? Couldn't he just admit that there was some reason he wasn't trying to kill her? A beast had come to the Abbey shortly after she did with wounds, saying something about a wolf. Of course it had been Xylon, he was obviously the type to kill with little care. So why did he toss the bandages at her? She huffed and stuffed the things he'd thrown into he pack and walked after him. She was going to get him to admit something or send her back to the Abbey bleeding badly.
He heard her following since she didn't take any care to cover the sound of her steps up. She sighed bitterly, but then forced herself to sound annoying happily. Maybe if she bugged him enough, he'd do something besides huff and leave.

OOC: *Stands there with needle awkardly* Uhhh....Ido'know...Jump on you?
The crunching of delicate leaves was easily detectable amidst the sounds of raindrops, but Xylon did not stop nor turn, continuing to walk slowly down the long road. He didn't really care if the weasel followed, but didn't want a friend. He didn't want a heart. The veteran had learned seasons ago that a heart brought more pain than joy.

[ ooc: >> *continues digging* ]
The weasel huffed silently and pawed at the saber hanging at her side. So he was going to be this way, was he? She slid her paw up to the handle of the blade and popped it out, knowing the sound of metal being unsheathed would also be noted. Following him would be boring, so she was going to liven it up a little.

OOC: *Pulls out another injector and runs at Darkaire*
The sound of metal indeed alerted Xylon to the weasel's intent, but he did not make a reaction. Keeping his icy eyes ahead, the wolf walked on south down the trodden path.

[ ooc: flails madly and gives up on the hole, running away again* ]
The fact he did not respond sparked her irrational temper. It flared dangerously before it settled into a mild discontent. She drew her blade fully and twirled it in a figure eight, the point stopping in a direct line with the spot between the wolf's shoulder blades. She delighted in the sound of metal slicing air, but decided not to do it again. She paused to see if he responded to that. The longer he went without responding, the more she was tempted to pick a fight.

OOC: *Attempts to tackle Darkaire*
At further movement, the traveler halted, arms at his side and eyes closed. He wondered if she would strike or not, and what her point of attack would be. Probably the low sides or back, both of which weren't very logical. Either way, she probably wouldn't strike.

[ ooc: *is tackled* Nnnuuuh! *still can't talk* ]
Her temper flared again, and this time she didn't push it back. She acted on the anger and leveled the sabre at him. He had stopped moving, so it would be easier to pick wherever she wanted. Cold eyes narrowed, and the sword danced out with intent to slice across the back of his left thigh. If it scored, and if the wound was solid enough, it would seriously impede his walking.

OOC: *Pins Darkaire down* Muahaha! Get ready for the needle!
However, when the metal shinged! quickly as to attack, Xylon made a move. Slipping out a kunai from his belt with his right claw, the wolf spun around and held the weapon to one side so the saber could not strike his body. Xylon stared coldly at Ritari, but the emotionless was not foreboding, giving a different message. If you must.

[ ooc: *cries softly, trying puppy eyes to avoid the needle* ]
The weasel stared back boldly, and it was obvious that she was just releasing frustration more than actually trying to injure him. Even her attack had been geared at a source of her anger. She hadn't swung the sword hard, but nevertheless the impact of both weapons meeting jarred her shoulder enough to make her face twitch into a brief wince. She jerked the sabre back a flicked it at the ground, spearing a leaf to release steam. Ritari made a face at him and flicked the blade up again, this time at the paw holding the kunai.

OOC: *Rolls eyes and moans, throwing away injector* I can never have any fun... *Pats Darkaire on head to stop her crying*
The wolf tilted his head a little, mocking her to attack again. When Ritari did, he pushed it away again with the kunai, then spun the small weapon around his mottled body with unnatural speed. Stopping, Xylon was in a battle stance, his pale eyes inviting the eager weasel to advance.

[ ooc: *suddenly stops crying and tickle attacks him* Hah, the sight of crying makes you stop, eh? *forgets about the not speaking thing* ]
It had been an easy attack to parry, and her blade bounced off his again. This time, she used the gained momentum to whip it around at the same paw at a different angle. The angle was hard on her wrist to maintain, but that only ensured he'd have to work harder to block the attack again. Her eyes seemed to snap as they met his gaze again, fury building behind them.

OOC: AAAAH! *Breaks down laughing and falls off Darkaire*
Despite the odd positioning of the next attack, Xylon blocked it as easily as the first, the kunai a silver blur in his paws. Sensing the weasel's anger, the veteran looked up to the sky in attempts to increase the emotion. "I thought you were a fighter, Ritari..."
