Ripfang laughed his wound sealed up and and he dissapeared and reapeared by where stripetail had been." Stupid squril my great great great great grandmother killed herself and told me to bathe in her and my clans blood. When you sent me back she put in my mind the secrets of magic that you don't even know." Ripfangs power was now at Stripetails level." Shostran Kinthoa Knachrics metrhrios Kantrgnish Kronos!" Ripfang was immortal and the spell just used sucked the magic energy outta of everything in the area but Ripfang was unafeccted since he casted it.

STrIpetail suddenly began to laugh as the Spirit of Ripfang's Grandmother appeared, 'Oh Really, Did she tell you also that some spells are not meant to be cast? Like the one you just did, for example. Spellan distrius" a sound like the rush of air came on the area. _ Ripfang's grandmother's eyes grew wide 'impossible' She shreiked in a ghostly voice. She looked at stripetail with abject fear, then at Ripfang. "fool' She screamed at Ripfang. "Why didn't you tell me of the squirells power? He is stronger, far stronger than us. He knows the cursed spells, and how to undo them! Le-" StRipetail spoke in a cold tongue, and Ripfang let out a moan of pain. "You are not a true immortal wolf, you have cast unforgivable spells, spells that no being can cast and still hope to gain immortality. Your powers will now fade, and you will age rapidly, a season in a hour, 1o seasons in a day. That is the price you pay for a moment of immortality, immortality that is not yours' Ripfangs mothers les out a yell, and flaoated over and grabbed her descendant, who collasped to the ground. through her shadowy arms. She looked at Stripetail with anger, which quickly gave way to fear. STripetail loked at Ripfang, whose fur was now turning white. 'Great Wizard, she wheezed 'Spare my son. By the Powers above,, spare him!' why should I ancient witch? Was it not you who told him to use the blood spell of Angar?

The Spirit looked at the fox. and said. 'No, this fight is over. will you let me take my grandson away?" Stripetail nodded "On one condition. You take away his powers, and I'll let you go, so long as you never enter these lands again. The Spirit nodded. "Agreed" She gestured and a flsame run across Ripfang body and magically caused the runes on him to vanish. It was over in a few moments.

"Well, its more like drawing upon the natural magic of a place than actually having my own magic" said the fox. "Is that an explanation?"
