Cipactli smiled broadly. "That is good to know." He replied, examining the fox a little bit further. The fox was perfect. He would do anything he would ask of him, and Cipactli didn't even need to use his magic to alter the foxes mind. Simply perfect.
He smiled again and took a piece from the food, tasting it slowly. He had to admit, the food was quite good. For hordefood that is. Perhaps this Scarback character had forced the cook of an inn or something into his services. It didn't really matter.
"I'm a little curious about you, Slavert." He began, taking another bite. "Would you mind telling me more about you?"

One can never be sure with vermin" Strongstripe said, pausing from forging a blade... He sighed" I wish his Lordship were here, He's far more experienced than the "seers" we have, but that squirrell goes where he pleases... and comes and goes at his whim.." He looked down at his blade. "forgive me, Redstripe, my mind is distracted. Go back to Oxbow and tell him to keep on the look-out.."

"Yeah, Stripetail is a good beast ta have when a battle is near, but I don't like that musty smell that follows him." Redstripe winked and turned walking out of the forge chuckling. He really did like Stripetail's company, but some things can be done without a magic seer forseeing the whole battle.

Strongstripe Chuckled to himself "Light huymor does wonders for the soul.." he said to himself as he went back to his forging.. "Yet I fear that that fox is planning something... I feel it in my bones.. asnd I don't need magic to tell me that.."
"I'm sorry about your losses." Cipactli replied and sighed heavily. He knew all to well how it feels to lose a sibling... He forced these thoughts out of his mind now. There was no time to be sentimental! That was not him, that was not Cipactli!
"Drafted you in?" He repeated with a slightly raised eye-ridge. "That doesn't quite sound as though you joined in out of your own free will."

"I was offered a share of the 'loot' whatever that meants, and my father was drafted in as well... the boss had little use for women.. except as possible mates.." Slavert replied. looking at chipactli...

Redstripe stepped beside Oxbow,"Lord Strongstripe says to keep a watchfull eye on the enemy, you got it?" He leaned on his axe once more,"I'm jus gonna stand here an keep you company." He didn't want to admit, he was bored, when would they attack and spice things up?

"Yes, I'm itchuing for a fight myself, in battle I feel a RUSH... it's hard to explain, but I feel more energeticc, and I can use my training to good use..." Oxbow replied looking at Rosepaw and then Redstripe
"A shame." The crocodile mused, then looked up again. "This warlord seems to be quite prejudiced. I've seen many females who became quite powerful warriors later on, you know." He told Slavert and took another bite.
"Say, Slavert, are you happy with your position in this horde?" It was a question as simple and inocennt as it could be, but the answer to the question would determine whethever Slavert was suitable for Cipactli's needs or not.

To be truly honest sir.. not really.. Please this is just between me and you....promise you won't say anything.." Slavert said, his eyes darting towards the door... He had heard about creatures that had been publicly executed for expressing disaffection with Scarback...

"I was really that obvious, do I look like I want ta fight that bad?" He sighed,"It just I haven't had a good rumble fer a while." He sat down letting the axe handle fall against his shoulder."Ah, but you can't awlays have what you want."

No you can't..." Oxbow sighed... Rosepaw went up to them. "One for one thing it is good to have a rest inbetween fighting... it allows us to recover and man our defenses" She said. rosepaw was easily the most beautiful of the female hares, and she was just a season younger than Oxbow. But behind that beauty lay a formidable warrior, who had the skill to match Oxbow or any male hare in battle...
"Don't worry, my friend, I won't. This is going to remain between me and you." He reassured the fox, a smile on his face. "Say, Slavert, what would you say, if I would offer a deal of my own. A better deal than the one Scarback made to you."
