"Good." Artimis' smile disappeared. "I've been itchin' for a fight all night. But first, hare, tell me why you're here...?" ___________________________________________________________________________
Thomas jumped from branch to branch at the speed of a cheetah, taking great care not to fall from the redwood trees. One slip is instant death. His mind was worried about Artimis. They had spent many seasons together. Best friends. But this was no stick fight, pretending they were holding swords, laughing and romping in the grass, the snow, the dead leaves, the dirt. This was for real. Thomas reached the big wooden town gates and pulled them open. It took a time to open the gates for they were extremely heavy. Thomas looked back. A hare was bounding toward him at incredible speed. He drew his sword and let the gate slam shut. He could try to take this.

The other pirates backed off, including the otter that'd made the first attack. "I am here," Pitach said calmly, "because unfortunate circumstance lead me to a life of piracy, and now I am here, under orders to keep you and your retreating friend, from revealing us..." The hare nodded and smiled, "enough of an answer for you?" His sword tip had remained in the dirt, while he spoke. As he finished, he flicked it up and kept it trained on the squirrel's throat. "I'm not a cruel beast, mind you, and I would like to give you the chance to surrender yourself, and come back to our vessel as a prisoner."

Twang!
The next thing anybody saw was the shaft of a still quivering Arrow in the sand. "Hardly Fair all you against that beast, isin't it!?" Wayra yelled in thier direction. As he got closser he notched another shaft to his bow.

"By the four winds... Harrun! Shoot that beast, I want no more of this!" The other otter drew his massive longbow, and fired a shot at Wayra. Pitach remained steady before Artimis. "What say you?"
(All you've got to do is your best Wayra.)

Artimis dissmissed the arrow."Unfortuanate circumstance...hmm..." Artimis raised his sword a little, just in case of an attack he may need to block. "I can tell you one thing. I am not going back to your vessel, and I am certainly not going to be a prisoner. But I will ask you another question that may result in the outcome of my surrender." Artimis smiled faintly. "Why don't you leave your life of piracy?"

(My best...hmm ouch my brain already hurts!! ) Wayra dodged the arrow easily. He shot and sliced the string of the otter. His main goal was to try and disarm them though it didn't look like even that would help much, They could probably Knock Him out easily.

The hare laughed, then shook his head tiredly. Behind his, Harrun shot another arrow at the squirrel in the tree. "Why all these questions?" Pitach let his sword tip drop brashly, leaving himself open as he spoke. "I'm trying to let you live, young one... I'd like to talk with you later, back at the ship..." His last words were spoken one sylible at a time. ~~~~~~~ The hare after thomas clashed witth the squirrel instantly. The impact knocked them both into the front gate, and the hare grinned wolfishly as he pressed Thomas's body against the heavy gate. "Can't run, can't climb..." The hare gasped, "Now what?"

Thomas laughed. "I kick, stupid!" He slammed his knee into the stomach of the hare, doubling him over. He pounced on the hare, hungry for more. ___________________________________________________________________________
Artimis sighed. Clearly, the hare didn't feel comfortable talking about it. They were heavily armed, all of them. Artimis glanced toward the forest. Without a doubt they would attack Cantergrove. He threw his sword into the dirt, not even believing that he was doing what he was doing. "Fine. I surrender." He would find a way to escape, but for now he just needed to keep Cantergrove from getting attacked.

Pitach said nothing as he sheathed his sword and took hold of Artimis's shoulder. The hare turned to his crew, speaking loudly. "Alright, let's get back to Guinn..." As he started to walk back the way they'd come, the hare spoek quietly to Artimis, not taking his eyes off the path ahead. "That was a wise thing you did, mate. I'll be sure you're treated fairly..." ~~~~~~~~~~ After recieving Thomas's kick, the hare doubled over, then fell to his knees, doing what little he could to fight off the attacking squirrel. He threw a feeble punch, as he stumbled to his feet, regripping his sword.

(Sorry Cerridwen. I have kept most of the fleet frozen in time back in the cove. )
Tine, sitting high in the crows nest, scanned the shoreline as Broadwing drifted closer to the shore. The young hare was having a hard time seeing beyond the treeline, for the post-dawn twilight.

Artimis nodded. "Thankee. I'll do what I can do cooperate..." They boarded the ship and Artimis slapped his footpaws on deck. It was strange, feeling the waves beneath the wood. He hadn't got his sea legs yet. ___________________________________________________________________________ Thomas leaped into the air and aimed a kick at the hares head, landing smoothly. He planned to breech the walls once the hare was dazed and lock down the town, then head back to the shore once the hare was...disposed of. I hope Atrimis is okay...

Wayra was already gone by the time the arrow was even fired. "Can't believe that squirrel gave up so easily..." He murmed lower then a whisper. "Those were sea hares, and otters..there must be a boat nearby.." As he went through the bushes he saw a huge sea fearing vessle. "Speak of the devil..."

Taking the hit squarely, the hare was rendered helpless, his nose obviously broken. Falling to his knees, he started crwling awa on three legs, clutching his swollen, bloody face. "No more.." he moaned, "stay away.." ~~~~~~~~ The party Pitach had brough with him slowly despersed as they reboarded the Cutter and soon, Pitach was alone, leading the squirrel to Guinn below deck. "Nock, nock captain..." The hare stood outside the door, still holding Artimis firmly. "If I were you mate, i would hold your tongue for the moment.. Guinn is-" The door was kicked open, and Pitach shut his mouth, walking the hostage inside, he closed the door.

Beniethe the tree Wayra sat in, the hare that Thomas had faught off stumbed by. He staggered, rather then walked, and still clutched his nose as he headed for his ship.
((Woah, I'v got to take a breather guys. lol good RPing. ;D))
