Smokefang suddenly yelled and ordered as vermin to charge! He would lock blades with these impudent fools! Only a few vermin stayed behind to guard the mouse-2

"Suit yourself." He pulled out his quarterstaff in his right hand and his knife in his left. "You should have taken the offer." Akeradies sheathed the knife and gave his soldiers the signal to charge. "Rorik, send word for reinforcements." Rorik turned and ran to the cliffs, where he climbed back down to the city.

The battle raged between the barbarian vermin and these desert dwellers. Suddenly, a great shadow loomed over head. That was the biggest eagle Akeradies had ever seen! Its wing span was at least three times as big as normal!

"Well, that's certainly a big bird. Archers! Keep an eye on that eagle, and if it dives, bring it down!" Using the quarterstaff to parry a rat's thrust of a cutlass, Akeradies brought the staff up in a vertical swing, then switched to the other end. The result put the rat off-balance, whereas he recieved the end of the staff in the windpipe.

"Redstripes comming for you!" Redstripe charged over a dune axe in hand, he had followed the vermin since they first saw the mouse." Vermin fear this day! For it is the day of your death!" When he reached the battle he was in a bloodwrath," Death to all enemies!" He swung his axe killing a rat that guarded the mouse.

"Well, looks like we have company. Keep an eye on the badger. We don't want to harm him if he comes towardsus in a rage, merely subdue him, if it comes to it." After hitting a weasel in the solarplex with a thrust of the quarterstaff, Akeradies began searching for Smokefang.

((fast forwarding to a later time))
Akeradies walked back to the canyon, searching for the path he had used to climb up here when he left. "Hmm....Now where could it be?" He found it, then started searching for the hidden rope. When he found it, he tested it to see if it was secure, then slid down. The guards were going about their business as usual, when one of them spotted Akeradies.
"Vega, go wake Rorik. Lord Akeradies has returned!"
Akeradies grinned a little at this remark about his title. "Now, now, Argonath, you don't need to call me Lord."
Argonath nodded. "Yes, sir."
Rorik came walking out of one of the houses that had been cut out of the wall. He stopped when he saw Akeradies. "Well, young lad, how'd your trip go?"
Akeradies grinned. "Very well." Then his expressinon changed to an albeit serious one. "But enough talk of my trip for now. I need you to call a council meeting. There's something important that's come up."
((Anyone care to rp council members or Rorik for a little while?))
