"That's sort of what I've been afraid of. It would be easier, somehow, if she was completely gone. If I could say she was evil, and justify .. well, killing her and putting an end to all this.."

You should kill her only if there is no hope for her to be saved. You must hold onto hope until there is no alternative" Stripetail told him.,

"Hope isn't always easy to hang onto.. I'm so tired." He replied listlessly. "But likewise, I can't seem to let go," he rubbed his forehead. "I'm talking in circles now.."

"I know it isn't easy. I think we can stop now" Stripetail said, sheathing his sword. "You clearly need rest" he went over and pulled his staff out of the ground. "Where should we head?" he asked.

Haydn tossed his sword from paw to paw as he answered, "well, my first guess would be Mossflower, but that's going to be a big task... I've got nothing but a schooner docked on the other side of those trees and no where near the rations for such a trip." The wolf seathed his sword. "Do you have any suggestions?"

I was refering to where we will spend the night" Stripetail clarified.

Haydn laughed heartily, "M'sorry, ha ha, I was thinking too much of Mara.." He waved a paw casually over at the trees again. "I've got a camp set up in that clump of trees... It's nothing fancy, but it'll do for a few nights." He started walking. "Just this way,"

"I'm sorry," Haydn said, scratching behind his ear sheepishly. "I've got some extra bedrolls in the ship."

That will have to do, I suppose" Stripetail sighed. "Lead the way."

Haydn gave a nod and strode off towards his docked ship and campsite, his boots leaving dimples in the sand behind him.

Sek-Raktaa didn't say much more. He was tired, hungry and certainly looking forward to that nice camp Haydn had spoken about. He just wanted to relax, to heal and to rest.

Haydn waved a paw at the schooner's limp sails, then at the campsite that had come into view. "You lot can just make yourself at home, or at the leastimagin it's comfortable." He added with a dry laugh. "I'll just go fetch some things from the cabin.." He waded casually into the water towards the ship. It was nearly chest high where the ship floated calmly. After pulling himself up and shaking off the water with vague distain, he ducked into the cabin. In graceful red letters on the vessel's hull was the name, 'Grey Hanley.'

Gladly Sek-Raktaa complied, dropped himself down onto the ground and made himself as comfortable as possible. It felt quite good actually, to just lay there and relax. However, the sudden, unnatural loud growl emitting from his stomach reminded him quickly, that he had other needs as well.
