(One question Gyre, which faction does Skie belong to? Is he a member of the imperial legion, part of the city guard or is he a member of the fighters guild which means a law abiding mercenary?)
Captain Ghadon, heavily muscled and armoured spinosaurian leader of the towns/counts guard, examined the battlefield in front of him through calculating eyes. Altogether, they managed to hold the city against the orcs, although suffering many cassaulties in the process. It was still a victory though, which had been hard to achieve.
"Lieutenant." He addressed a Triceratops which snapped to immediate attention. "Sir." He replied, saluting. "I want all wounded being brought to the infirmary. No exceptions." The spinosaur ordered, then pointed straight towards the stygimoloch female nearby. "That includes her." The triceratops scowled. "But sir, she..." "That's an order, lieutenant." The spinosaur intervened. Both saurians stared into the eyes for one another, until the triceratops finally averted his gaze. "Yes sir. At once." He replied, finally giving in.
The spinosaur sighed heavily. He could understand the triceratops. Necromancy was generally not well liked and even outlawed within the empire. However, the stygimoloch female had rushed towards their aid and helped them against the orcs. The spinosaur thought for them to owe her their grattitude, and for as long as she doesn't raise the dead from the graveyards or even plunder them, there was no need, no reason, to arrest her.

(I had city guard in mind.)
On the steps where Skie had fallen, there was nothing but a half dried bloodstain. Beyond that there was a trail leading up the staircase. His three toed footprint was marked clearly, but it ended at the next landing and there lay the young shuviuuo, half on his side and curled up like a hatchling. His whole left side was plastered in dark blood, and his small feathers stood up in stiffened spikes as it dried. The small blade was on the ground only inches from his open claw and his eyes were closed as if sleeping. His small, yellow head feathers were standing on end and the wind ruffled them. The young fighter was frighteningly still, but with a closer look you could see that his chest was rising and falling, if only faintly. He milled in and out of consciousness. Now and then he strain to would swallow, or his eyes would move under the lids. He was half dreaming, half struggling to wake himself up...

(Alright.)
A brontosaurian soldier, clad in the armour of the city guard, found the wounded shuviuuo not long after the captain had given the order to tend the wounded. He hadn't much experience, though the wound looked dire to him. He quickly waved another soldier of the city guard to his aid, and together they carried the young shuviuuo towards the infirmary.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Excuse me, but the captain ordered me to escort you to the infirmary." A hadrosaurian soldier said, addressing the female stygimoloch necromancer. He was young and inexperienced, thus his fear from Enjo were clearly visible. He shoke slightly and helped her find her way towards the infirmary.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When Kaa-Seken's senses finally returned to reality, he found himself in a warm, comfortable bed in a medium sized room. He groaned, suffering from a dire headache, and attempted to lift his head. It took him several attempts, but in the end he succeeded. If the room now would only stop spinning around, it would be perfect.
The young raptor groaned again, put his head into his claws and sighed heavily. Once his mind was clear enough, he actually started to look around. He was nude beneath the covers, and his belongings were placed on top of a small wooden table beside his bed. There were three beds in total, including his, and the other two were occupied by the young shuviuuo which helped him earlier in battle and the unknown stygimoloch female which had burned down the orcish siege tower. The raptor found her to be attractive in some way, though he tried to hide his interest in her and averted his gaze to further examine the room.
However, the room wasn't really interesting at all. There was an empty wooden table and a couple of common chairs close to a small window. Judging by the arch of the sun, it must be early in the evening. He could feel some smaller bandages around his body, though his most dire wound had been the cut on his cheek which had also been bandaged. The bad thing however was, that in order to properly bandage the wound, they needed to be wrapped around his entire muzzle which ends up into rendering him unable to speak. Though honestly, he could live with it temporaly. He sank back into the pillow of the bed, pulled the warm covers closer to his body and sighed heavily.

Enyo tried to sleep but she felt uneasy. She knew that it would be only a matter of time before she was exiled from the city if not jailed for who she was. Despite her anxiety over her impending fate once she was healed, she could not help but feel someone looking at her. Lifting her head slightly she glanced around, the only other occupants of the room were a strange feathered saurian and a velociraptor. With a sigh Enyo laid her head back down...

Skie rested soundly. His narrow muzzle was barred with shadows from the window, and the light that entered the room was the destilled, orange-yellow of a lazy afternoon. The blood had been washed from his white feathers, and he felt soft and clean. In sleep, he weakly turned his head from the sunlit wall to the other two surains. He sighed, licked parched lips and ran his claw over the blankent. Under the covers, his abdomin was wrapped tightly, the bandages stained with fresh, red blood. The arrow was gone, but after cutting out the broken shaft, he bore a wide deep gash across his hip, leading into the small of his back. It looked terrible, and he was only able to sleep because of the herbs he'd been given.
He caughed gingerly and opened his eyes a crack.

The raptor sighed again and felt his cheek gently with his claws. He winced as the action caused him pain. However, it didn't cause him as much as he feared and after he thought about it for a moment, he decided to remove the bandages. He slashed them open carefully with his claws, then simply put them off. He sighed with pleasure for a moment, as the pressure around his muzzle was removed. The healers might not approve with this, but the bandages hindered Kaa-Seken more, than they helped him. And if the healers wanted him to wear bandages, they can try to put them on without muzzling him in the process. Upon hearing the shuviuuo cough, he turned slightly to face him. "You alright there?" He croaked more than he said. His throat was horribly dry.

Skie blinked the the drousy fog from his eyes, then squinted at the raptor. "You.. " He was going to say more, but he seemed out of breath just being awake. After a moment, he nodded, gently running his claws over the blanket, feeling his bandages and grimacing slightly. "I'm very tired," he admitted, shifting under the covers. "How about you?"

"Been better." The raptor replied. "Though, aside from the fact that my head's going to explode any moment and the ache all across my body, I'm fine." He turned to the stygimoloch female slightly. "How about you? You alright there?"

Enyo had attempted to go back to sleep ut she was not trying very hard. Slowly she opened one eye as a voice addressed her. She could tell that it was the velociraptor who was addressing her. How long has it been since someone showed interest in my well being? Enyo mused silently to herself. "I will be fine for now but as for my impending future I do not know. I am not welcomed within the city walls and I am sure that it will only be a matter of time before they come for me." Enyo said calmly without emotion as she propped herself up on her left arm...

The raptor blinked a couple of times, then looked at her with a slightly startled expression. "Really? Why?"
(A little note about necromancy: There are two ways about calling the dead. One is legal, the other is not. The legal way to summon the dead to fight for one is, to cast a spell to summon a skelet, zombie, lich, etc. In that case, a small black hole will apear in the air and the summoned undead servant will fall out of it, serving the caster instantly. However, the spell lasts only for a short duration of time, a couple of minutes at the most. Afterwards, the summoned undead creature vanishes in thin air like it had never existed at all. The ilegal way is to actually use a spell to raise a dead beast/creature, either freshly killed or dug out of its grave. In that case, the undead will serve the necromancer permanently. Since this is considered a vital desecration of the dead, this way of raising the dead is ilegal and punishable by crime. Necromancers using the ilegal way will either be locked up in jail or executed.)

*I was considering something between the two. Kind of a "puppet master" of the undead so to say. Rather than summoning them for a short time and have them fall out of a rift, have the dead be raised from old or fresh corpses for a certain amount of time before being released again.
With a slight sigh and a shake of her thorny head, Enyo began to explain. "Long ago, and a good ways from here, my family was taken my an awful pestulance. I was only a youngster at the time but I saw them die one by one as they suffered from boils and coughed up their very blood. I was the last one that the pestulance took hold of. All the others had died and I was left alone in agony and in fear as the stench of death permiated our home. With what I thought would be my last breaths I pleaded with those that take the souls of the dying to spare me and I would serv them. I swear that I saw them come for me, they were dark shadows that appear from nothingness. Apparently they found my plea amusing and allowed me to live, granting me power over the pestulance that killed my family and imbuing me with their dark arts. I am sure that I am damned for my deal. Steadily my power grows but it is forbidden, I am an outcast." Enyo said quietly, not wanting too many prying ears to hear...

(Alright, that's fine with me.)
Kaa-Seken listened to the stygimoloch's story, his head dropping slihghtly in sadness. "How sad..." He said, more to himself than anyone in particular. It made him think of his own family. If they were alright, without him. If they missed him. "I'm sorry for your losses." He added shortly after, looking at the female again.

Skie let his head sink back into his pillow, staring blankly at the ceiling. His family was whole and healthy, tending their small farm in a town just to the east of here. He'd been pained to leave them, but after hearing the stygimoloch's story... The young dinosour hovered near sleep as he thought, the fleeting dreams he had were tainted with the female's aweful story.

"Do not pity me or feel sorry for my lot in life. I am undeserving of such feelings from others." Enyo said solemnly. She knew that it would be of no use, what was done was done and could not be reversed. As a frightened youngling she had sworn her soul to the Keepers of the Dead just for the chance to not die alone and forsaken. Strangely Enyo felt at peace with waiting her fate, be it death or exile. It was as though she had come to terms with all that had happened and all that she had done. Quietly she laid back; there was no use in trying to flee anyway since all of her worldly possessions had been confiscated...

"No, you're not." The raptor replied, sinking back into the soft pillows of his bed and crossing his arms behind his head. "You have feelings like anyone else, despite the things which happened in the past." He turned his head slightly to look at her. It was hard for the young raptor to form words in his mouth which wouldn't offend the stygimoloch in any way. Truth to be told, he pitied her deeply. She may be a necromancer, which honestly frightened and disgusted him slightly, but then again... She didn't make that choice out of her own free will. She was, more or less, forced by fear to that decision, and ended up being a loner and outcast by society. Shunned, by her own people. Kaa-Seken doubted, that she had any friend at all which made him feel heavy with grief for her. He wanted to say something to her, to help her somehow, but he didn't know how. "You're no outcast to me." He said, finally. "Actually, I think you're quite nice."
