Skie fiegned sleep on his side of the room, but after a few minutes he found the questions too hard to stifle. He was, after all, little more then a child. "..When will they come to take you?" He asked in a small voice. It was a terrible thought, but he saw little he could do for her. "Also, what are your names?"

"I am Enyo Soultaker, though Soultaker was what the Shadows gave me but before that I was of the Battlethorn Clan. As for when they will come for me, it may be anytime now, I know the inhabitants of this city are not pleased to have me here. I can tell even you fear and loath me despite your words, raptor." Enyo said quietly as she eyed the velociraptor that had been speaking to her earlier. She knew that the guards would be coming for her at any moment to take her away to be cast from the city or even worse, to her doom. She had lived a cursed life since the day that she had made her pact, every day since she had cursed that day. Though now there was not much that could be done. Even if she swore never to preform the dark arts of necromancy again she knew that it was forever ingrained in her living flesh. The dark powers surged through skin, muscle and sinew, no magic that she would ever do would be pure. It would always be tainted by the darkness she carried within her...

"I'm Kaa-Seken of the Kragen family." The raptor introduced himself. "And you're right." He added, addressing the stygimoloch female. "I'm afraid of necromancy and I'm a little intimidated by you. I don't hate you for that, though. I'm... I'm just trying to be friendly. That's all."

Skie bliked quizically after thiking hard for a moment. He pushed himself up on his elbows, and spoke quietly. "Enyo.. Is there no where that would except.. or at the very least not hate and punish you for your magic?" He paused, adding shyly, "I mean, I- I believe you are a good beast.. you stopped the towers and the orcs. You saved us.. either way you look at it..." He shook his head in frustration at his own indirectness, then looked past Enyo and nodded stoutly at Kaa-Seken. "I think that we should run interfirence.."

"You are both being too kind for your own well being. Even if I tried to put my past and the art of necromancy behind me and tried to settle where now one knew of me then I would still be feared. It has taken me several years to learn to control the dark power that surges through my very flesh and bone." Enyo said, sitting up. With the greatest ease she let dark purple sparks spring from the claw of her left hand. These sparks in turn became a small purple-black flame that floated inches from Enyo's palm before she closed her fingers around it, snuffing it from exhistance. This was only a parlor trick in relation to the feats that she was truly capable of. She was what could be called a "channeler" or a wild mage, one who wielded the raw unbridaled power that was magic. She did not have to learn spells and incantations from books and scrolls but rather will what she wanted into exhistance and call upon what she wanted. It all depened on how strong her power was, it would grow with time...

The door to their room suddenly opened, and the tyrannosaur captain of the guard as well as two guards, a dilophosaur and brontosaur, entered. The captain surveyed the small room, then promptly addressed the only female in the room. "I'm sorry, but by order of the count, I put you under arrest."
"Arrest?" Kaa-Seken repeated, staring at the tyrannosaur. "Why do you arrest her? What did she do?" He asked. "She's a necromancer." The tyrannosaur replied with some distaste. "That's enough for the count." "You can't." The young raptor intervened. "That's injust! She aided us during the siege! She saved the whole city doing so!" He cried out, looking desperately at his shuviuuo brother-in-arms and silently asking for back up.

Catching the raptor's imploring glance, Skie tried to sit up fast, but the wound on his hip and belly prevented anything of the sort. Beginning his objection with an audible gasp, he fell back on his elbows and held out a claw, as if it would stop the tyranosour. "Sir, please, there must be an alterative to this.." He nodded at Enyo, "You weren't there, how can you be in a possition to judge this beast?"

"I am not judging anything." The tyrannosaur replied simply. "I am simply carrying out orders." He gave both of his saurians a wink. "Seize her."
"No! Wait!" The velocyraptor cried out in protest and the tyrannosaur turned to him with a puzzled expression on his face. "What is it?" "You can't arrest a saurian who hasn't done anything. That's injust!"
The tyrannosaur merely rolled his eyes. "I've told you before, I am simply carrying out my orders." The raptor's mind raced, trying to figure a way out of this situation. "What if these orders are illegal? Would you still carry them out?" He asked and the tyrannosaur went silent.
The raptor took in a deep breath and thought carefully about his next words. "Look, she saved us when no one asked her to do so and she hasn't committed a single crime. That makes her innocent until you can proove otherwise, right?"
"You fairly think highly of that stygimoloch, don't you?" The tyrannosaur asked in returned. "What?" The velocyraptor blinked, startled. Was he implying something. The tyrannosaur crossed his arms in front of his chest and fixed the velocyraptor with a piercing glare.
"Would you even go so far as to vouch for her?" He asked, pointing towards the stygimoloch female behind him. Kaa-Seken's eyes raced back and forth between the stygimoloch female and the tyrannosaur guard captain. Sure, she was a necromancer and Kaa-Seken was terrified of necromancy. Then again, she also hasn't committed any crime yet. Right?
"Yes." The raptor answered after a while with determination. "I vouch for Enjo Soultaker." The tyrannosaur raised his eye-ridge. "Interesting." He replied, dryly. He gave his fellow guards a wink and the three of them turned towards the door of them.
"You vouch for her actions for as long as she stays in this city." The tyrannosaur said, addressing the velocyraptor without turning around. "So if she does anything funny around here, then you're going to be the one who will take the blame for it. Remember that." The tyrannosaur finished, then exited.

Skie blinked as the tyrannosour closed the door, then he looked across the room and muttered airily to Kaa-Seken. "... You've got spine, Seken.. " He shook his head, a faint smile hovering on his lips.

"I dearly hope that you have not dug yourself a hole deeper than you can get out of, Kaa-Seken. It was a brave act but also foolish. I do not like their look, they will not rest until I am gone from here or worse. Also, it would be best if I leave this place as soon as possible. However I would like to claim my possessions before I leave." Enyo said as she nodded her thanks to Kaa-Seken. Despite the fact that she was a dangerous creature on her own, she always felt safer with her great sword close by because she traveled alone. Death Bringer was also all that she had left of her family, the sword was her mother's...

The raptor blinked, then scratched the back of his head. "Uh... Yeah... You're welcome." He said finally, unsure of how to respond proberly. He sighed deeply, then slumbed back into the soft pillows of his bed. "I think, we should get some rest for now." He said, already halfway asleep.

Skie's side was still raked with pain from trying to sit up a few moments ago. The young shuviuuo leaned back and began falling asleep the second his head touched the pillow... The adreniline was all that was keeping him awake, and now eve that was waining. "I do need some rest," he said aloud to himself, gigerly turning to the wall ad tryig to get comfortable. It seemed ulikely that they would be bothered again immedeatly, with Kaa-Seken having taken on Enyo, he assumed it would be safe to get some real rest.

Enyo watched as the Skie and Kaa-Seken slept. She could not sleep however, as long as she was within the city walls her life was endangered. The other two had also suffered baddly in the fight while she had come out with only a shoulder wound and a bump on the head. Quietly she walked over to the door and lightly touched the handle. She was not surprised when she found it locked. Walking back to her bed she watched the dying sun sink below the horizon and the walls of the city...
