Such as? I have been RPing, and doing more lit. related things than you could imagine, and I confess, I haven't truly found any 'good' or 'decent' writer, myself included.

John grisham, David mcClough, Doris Kearns Goodwin, just off the top of my head. they are all good writers, and their bounty of work speak for themselves. If you have never read 1776, I suggest highly that you pick it up.. I consider myself to be a good , not great writer.. but I can tell if someone is a decent writer.

I have read it before an find it interesting, but not particularly well written. If you expect anyone here to be on the same level as them, you are delusional.

No, I'm not suggesting that.. quite the contrary. You and I have obviously different constructs of what constitutes good writing. there is a different between a entertaining book ' The book was good, and a wellwritten one. What I think you are refering to it are people who are good writers..

It doesn't take a good writer to put out a well written book. Just a writer with lots of time. I define a good writer as someone to sway your feelings, your opinion, or make your opinion stronger. In the case of fiction, I mean a writer that can truly engage the reader, and make the reader feel anything the book's storyline wants them to feel. Execution is what I look for, not just plot.
