i'll jujust say your are a friend of mine, the residets here know i have many odd friends, so a stoat will not be out of the ordinary. just say you know me from my travels.. I travel extensively, Salamandastron and ErEdwall are the only plaes to stay for long periods of time at, at least in recent seasons " stripetail sighed ' Have you ever conversed with the Spirits of Dark Fiorest?

Ladorak looked over at him, a bit in wonder at his question. "Well... no. I haven't. Have you?" he asked, feeling as if there was far more to this squirrel than met the eye. He made a note too to say he was an old friend of Lord Stripetail's, as that would help him navigate this place.

Yes I have.. which is something most beasts only do on the point of death. But my magic allows me to do what normal beasts cannot hope to do..i have conversed with many ancient badger Lords, with former Abbots and badgers mothers and even a certain mousemaiden from Noonvale..

"I was on the verge of death once, but... I can't really remember it." He pointed to a rather prominent scar that was just below his heart. "Was run clean through. Missed my vitals by mere inches, or so I'm told. What other sorts of... magic do you know?" he asked, deciding to call it that.

i know a very great deal of magic, of course you'd expect that given my long life..i can see into the pasts of creatures and dig out painful memories, in order to predict their futures..many creaturres bury thier pain, and never truly mourn . martin the Founder was one of those.. Stripetail said sadly..

He drew a more serious face upon his features now. "Yes... from what I heard. I see... so you read into the pasts of others. You'll have to forgive me for asking this, but I am curious about it. What about hypnotism? Do you know any of that? I know that it can be used for good as well as bad, and you seem to possess many talents." the stoat stated.
Post by LordStripetail on May 29, 2011 22:50:51 GMT -5
i can do better than that, i can exert magical control over others. hyponotism can be broken, while a spell cannot be broken without magical ability, which I have found very very few creatures possess in these lands, and no one has been able to break my spells over them, well yet.. i rarely do it, unless I think it necessary.' the seer moved showng a beautiful rose-colored stone in the hilt of a sword in his belt. the hilt was rose colored and stripetail drew it out, the blade was rose-colored as well. "this is a magical blade. i found it in an old treasure trove many seasons ago..

The stoat smiled in a knowing manner, though betrayed a bit of surprise as well. He gave the squirrel a nod. "I've never heard of spells being able to do that. Of course... I know hypnotism can be broken. But that's rather incredible, considering it. I never knew such magic even existed!" he exclaimed.
He looked at the sword which was presented to him. "Hmmm, a magic blade. What does it do? I have to admit, I haven't encountered too many magical items... save for one."

well , it gives off light in the dark, so it allows me to see when i'm walking in the woods, in a tunnel, or anywhere where light is limited.but enough about that STripetail said sheating the word again and heeading inside the games' there should be plenty of room for you in the abbey..

i have not seen him in a few seasons, but i beklieve he is still alive..' Stripetail said entering the abbey and entering the Great hall. there on the wall was a gigantic ancient tapestry. ' this tapestry chronicles the entire history of the abbey, and has been added to by each suceeding generation of Abbey dwellers..

The stoat paused to admire it, looking over all the intricacies and detail woven into it. "This is rather impressive... I remember seeing it last time I was here... but there are new additions of course." he placed a paw on his chin. "I'm getting ideas in fact... ideas for my own family. We should have something like this." he stated, trailing off a bit as he admired it.

well that would be a good idea.. I myself am too old to have a family.. not at this point in my life" Stripetail said as a large badger appeared " auma1 My dear .. it has been awhile ' badger Moother glareed at him ' ah Seer, come back ti scare the dibbuns with more tales of magic spirits and other dangerous things! you are always welcome though. the abbey feels safer with you around.. amd who's your friend?"

"I'm Ladorak... Fugate." the stoat said, giving her a little bow. "I've adopted a different name than my kind usually takes." Once more, he did not mention his lineage, as he wasn't going to reveal that until he felt more comfortable in doing so. "I was nursed here a long while ago, back when I was a young adult. Moving out of my striplinghood and into more... adulthood I guess you could say. I have returned... for old times' sake." he explained.
