Ladorak was pretty flexible as was, but to turn the type of flips that he did, was nothing short of spectacular. He launched over backward, onto his forepaws, and then came back upright, as nimble as any gymnast that had graced the halls of the Abbey. He let it not detract from his singing at all, and continued to perform without the slightest hint of interruption on his part.

After the song finished, stripetail made the staot literally run up the walls of the hallway ' normally this would be near impossible, but his control over the stoat was so utterly complete that me managed to ull it off. after about five minutes of this.. stripetail brought him back down and broke the spell with a gesture. ' there.. you're back to normal..

Ladorak blinked a few times, his relaxed muscles sliding more into their old alert selves. "Huh?" he asked, looking about him. "So it's over then, is it?" he asked, beginning to smile. "Did I carry out your every command satisfactorily?" he asked, amused at what he must have been made to do.

yes you did, you sang an old sea shanty, with excellent control of your voice, i might add.. and did some very impressive dance moves and flips..and to top all that off you walked up the side of the wall over there to the ceiling" Stripetail said . "amazing what you can do in 15 minutes.."

Ladorak regarded the ceiling with some amazement as he whistled. "Wow... I wasn't aware I could be made to do all that. Not even hypnotism is that powerful. It controls the mind yes... but you can't do things outside of your physical limitations. This spell you wield... it is quite strong." he said, gaining a new found respect for it, and the squirrel.

hypnotism has its limitations. it can make a creature remember things, or forget them, or deny them the will to leave a place. but it cannot make you dance do flips and other things at the same time as well as magic can.. at the same time, this spell is not the strongest i posess, far from it in fact.. but those spells are so powerful that i rarely use them.. for good reason..

"I don't doubt it Lord Stripetail. I'm happy you consented to do this however. I felt it built a bit of trust between us, or at least it did for me. I've never been that confident of a creature, and have only found my inner strength over the past ten years or so. I had none until I was brought here, and I started to learn." he explained.
"Tell me, what would you like me to do to make myself useful for the upcoming feast?" he asked now.

My young friend, trust is built through being open , generous and honest. you need not change who you are if you are a decent sort that will come through.. as for maing yourself useful, the beds in the third floor will likely need to be cleaned Auma is in charge of that.. you should also go see the abbess, she should be around somewhere..

"Well said of course, well said." he affirmed with a nod. "I hope to build it a bit further during my stay. The beds on the third floor then. I shall do so. And who is the abbess, and what species is she?" he inquired now.

"Indeed, yes. If I run into Martin as well, I may speak with him. Actually I would rather like to, but as you said, he departed a few seasons ago. Where might I find the abbess?" he asked, nodding in agreement that she have long life.

I'd try the gatehouse, to start, she often studies the records that are kept in there..' Stripetail replied. " would you like to see my chambers too?"

The old greying badger sighed, his eyesight was even worse now then it had been when he was last at the abby. Nearly walked into the wall, took him three attempts to find the door. Blasted darkness. He sighed as he traced a large claw along the grain of the door. A deep intake of breath,"ALLO IN THERE! TIS OLE REDSTRIPE!" He coughed after his shout, blasted age catching up there too it would seem.
