Here's my first of characters, and one of my main:
Name: Ravyn the Axemaster Age: 32 Species: Fox Gender: Male Occupation: Mercenary, former member of the SynGuard Weapons/Equipment: Pair of simple but sturdy fighting axes, rosary beads Description: Orange-red fur w/ white underside & chin, and black paws & ears, light brown eyes, dark adventurer's tunic, leather vambraces & belt, green cloak
Personality: Naturally soft-spoken and calm, but can be ruthless and fierce when fighting. He has no intentions of talking about his past.
History: Little is known about Ravyn before his joining the SynGuard, except he once had a young daughter and his wife had passed away long ago. Where he had lived was torn in bloody rivalries between warlords, for which was perhaps the reason he and his daughter came to be with one of the warlords, Syn the XVII, also Syn the Ruthless. Ravyn became a natural warrior, often called "Blood Ravyn" by allies and enemies alike. But he also has a sense of mercy, which would later haunt him for the rest of his life.
One battle included the SynGuard taking control of a village once occupied by a rival, and there were orders to slaughter everyone inside, for which Ravyn refused to kill the innocent. In retaliation, Syn the Ruthless murders Ravyn's daughter, for which the fox cleaved his former master in half with his war axe. In the chaos, he took his daughter's body to bury her deep in a hillside where they often visit to view the landscape, and then vanished into the night.
Now on the run, Ravyn traded his ornate war axes for simpler battle axes, and distanced himself as far away from his former homeland as he could. Since then, he's taken jobs as a mercenary bodyguard for unarmed travelers.

Character number two, also an explanation of the organization:
Name: Syn the XVIII, also Syn the Vengeful and Dargen Syn Age: 26 Species: Vole Gender: Male Occupation: Warlord Weapons/Equipment: Longsword, dagger, buckler Description: Dark gray, black eyes, magenta tunic, red cloak, sometimes fitted with steel armor & a helm w/ bat wings
Personality: Ruthless, merciless, and always keeps a vendetta. Never forgives for one's actions, and believes mercy is a quick death. Hates Ravyn with a bloodlusting vengeance.
History: Son of Syn the Ruthless and brother of Velena Syn, Dargen was next in line to rule, though he thought he was going to wait. But when Ravyn the Axemaster killed his father, Dargen quickly took the title of Syn and command of the SynGuard with one thing in mind, seek and destroy Ravyn, even if it means abandoning their hard-earned territory to do so...
Name: SynGuard Ruling Body: Monarchy of vole warlords, with the title of Syn Description: Unlike other organizations like pirates and marauders, the SynGuard is a well-trained, well-equipped, and well-organized group of warriors, a definitive edge against other warring factions. Species range from rats & vermin to other voles and ferrets, with a few exceptions from other species. The levels of power start from the Syn Masters, or the royal family, to Syn Slayers, the elite of the warriors where Ravyn the Axemaster was part of, and the Syn Soldiers, the standard and massive infantry contingent.

Very interesting characters Kenjito now you just have to set wher the Syn 's terrotory is, in the north and Spouth. Perhaps you could have Tavyn appear in the ' Lands of old story, where Stripetail (my character ) and Ladorak ( vergils's character) are setting out to look for an ancient and valuable treasure..

I found a map, and I was thinking the Syn's territory being further south of Loamhedge. It'd be off the map, though.

I added another ten years to his age, but he is at the prime of his life by medieval standards. He's close, but not quite there yet.
Any, here's the last one for the time being:
Name: Tarnik Veristurm Age: 50 Species: Ferret Gender: Male Occupation: Tavern owner Weapons/Equipment: Bar mace (long flanged piece of iron w/ handle) Description: Orange fur w/ lighter shade underside & whiskers, green eyes, portly, green tunic, blue belt sash
Personality: Cheerful, slow temper, but does not tolerate violence in his tavern. Even though he seems care-free, he is very observant of particular actions. He holds some secret that he does not talk about, but he teaches what he's learned from it.
History: By the road just out of sight of Redwall Abbey, Tarnik builds and runs a bar/tavern and vineyard for weary travelers and denizens of the abbey. Few rumors are talked of his past life, including he is of noble blood, and others of a former pirate captain. But he shows remarkable efficiency with weapons, which adds to the gossip.
