It just crossed my mind to start RPing with a charector from a book of mine, Gyre. (Obviously where I got the name. Ha ha ) But I thought I should ask if there was a rule about mythical beasts, or if any one had a problem with that. No magic involved, but he's a dragon.
What do you guys think?

Possibly in the forgotten continent realm. It would have to depend on the type of dragon. Are we talking Easter, Western, or water?

He's sort of a canine style.. more Eastern then anything prob'ly. If I were to use him, I would size him own a little I think.
I could post a paragraph from the book to give a better picture of him if that would be helpful.
No biggy if it wouldn't fit, it was just a thought.

besides I think magic is a prerequisite for Dragons, because of their fire breath...

Go ahead and post a description and such so that I can get a better idea of what I'm considering here. Also, the breathing of fire can be explained in biological terms because I've heard the theories about how it could be possible. It's a chemical reaction, kind of like that of the bombader beatle or atleast I think that's the correct species of beatle.

ya it has to bladders of chemical and it spits them into the air. and when the chemicals mix they explode like sodium and water.

Alright, here it is. Don't mind the other charecter, this is just the intro for him.
A scrambling sound below brought me to attention with a sickening jolt. I sat bolt upright, hastily wiping tears away with a dirty hand, then I cautiously peered over the edge of the cliff, clutching the sapling close to my breast. It happened fast, the buffeting explosion of wings and the bony scrabble of claws on the fragile shale sent me sprawling. I sat in somewhat of a heap, leaning back on my elbows with the torn collar of my smock draped around my bony shoulder. Above me, framed in its own cottony wings was a dragon. It turned its head and fixed me with one dangerous eye, the reptilian pupil adjusting to the broken light of the forest. For a few tense seconds, we stared at each other. The sinuous creature perched like a cat, his tail sweeping loose rubble from the ledge. As the sound of the falling debris echoed away, a breeze played with the course fur running thick along his arced back. The distinctly canine face suddenly pulled back in a snarl as he spoke, shifting weight from clawed foot to foot, like an owl.

Oh, thanks. It's not the best excerpt really, but it seemed the only one to post concerning Gyre. It'l do.
