Aparently magic use has increased to unacceptable levels in the eyes of Cerridwen. So he is what will have to do. Magic may only be used to the magic realms, and magic use will be more in line with the magic used in the books. More spiritual as opposed to abracadabra. Sek, Your mana imo is acceptable, You can keep using that. I myself, will have to reconfigure Stripetail a little to focus on spiritual energy.

magic will continue to be ranked on a 1 to 5 scale, but it will be restricted to mages and Seers , ie only a very small number of creatures may use it. If we are already well into a story with strong magic use, the story will be allowed to finish, but that the magic use will be limited to the seer and mage characters.

It looks like you've got it pretty well under control. I'll let this be your mess to deal with since you've taken charge of it. I will have a final say in all goings on concerning the matter. Although I still hold all final administrative control over the matter. If the admin ain't happy, no one is happy.

fair enough Cerridwen. If any of you have any questions, pm Cerridwen and ask her. She doesn't like it.. it's a no-go. simple as that.. i have no authority outside of what she gives me, and she retains final say in all matters.

How about, if other players who intend to create a magic-using character are not only to write a description of the character but a small introduction story as well. Just a short passage in which the player's character's casting a couple of spells. That way, moderators and administrators could have a look at the way how this player is performing his skills and could be notified if his characters grows to powerful?

That could work... Remember that magic must be "spiritual" in other words, the magic's effects aren't seen right away...

You can keep it, but the magic should be toned down a bit... have it fire magic arrows only once in a while...

ok. it will only fire arrows ibn dire emergincies. and i was thinking.,. not right 4 taggle to slay that vermin.. so the bow did it. not taggle. that will ben one of the rare instances when it shoots arrows by itself.
