Character Name - Martin the Warrior {Not original I know but I couldn't help myself }
Age - 20 Seasons
Appearance - He has light brown fur which shines in sun light. His tail is long and thin, giving him good balance. His walk is fast and graceful with long, light steps. His eyes are the gentle - yet stern & - and wise eyes of a born warrior. He is tall with a strong build.
Personality - His blood wrath is covered deep within him. It emerges when his ancestors' blood starts boiling due to a threat.etc to himself or his friends. Otherwise, he is calm and collected as befits a warrior and a leader.
Home - Redwall Abbey
Weapon/s - He carries the symbolic sword of Redwall {RatDeath}. Its blade as sharp as the bite of a hurricane and as strong as titanium. He also carries a sling and a stone bag. He has a bow which was a gift from a tribe of sea otters whom he helped hunt down a tribe of nomadic vermin.
Skills - He is as or possibly more proficient in swordplay than his famous namesakes. He is a wily tactician and wise warrior. He is a good archer and an adept slinger.
History - He was brought to Redwall as a babe, seemingly abandoned by his parents in a vermin raid. He was raised by a kindly family of Field Mice who lived up the Road at Saint Ninian's Church. They joined Redwall Abbey when the Seige of the Slow Summer started. He established his prowess as a warrior in that war. He was appointed Abbey War by Abbot Arin as a distuinguishment for his services rendered. Ever since that, he has carried his charge honourably and well. He sometimes leaves the Abbey to help his allies such as the Badger Lord of Salamandastron.
RolePlay Sample - Martin whipped out his blade, using his shield as a battering ram as he battered one rat and tripped another. Once the blade came out, there was an empty void of space around martin as he swung the great sword. One rat was made two half-rats and another became headless as he swept the glittering sword first up and then down. He saw Juskarl the Wave Master and hurled himself at his guard. By now, his inherited Warrior Rage had risen and he went through the Bandicoots like a fierce whirlwind through a forest of rotten wood. Soon he was facing the Corsair King himself. Juskarl had armed himself with a huge Black Scimitar of sorts. The two armies formed a huge ring around the two Warriors. They circled each other but then Juskarl hurled himself at Martin hungry for Blood,and the battle was joined. The fight was even. Martin was faster, more skillful and more devastating with his blade. However, Juskarl was more experienced, stronger and defended himself vigorously whereas mMartin had abandoned defence totally. Suddenly they locked weapons and neither could gain an inch of ground over the other. Then Martin jumped to the side and swept at his opponents legs. Juskarl lept high. At the last moment Martin carried his slash high and the Rat was immobilzed when he hit the ground. Martin delivered the coupe-de-grace and rested on his sword, his armor shining with blood, steel & silver in the high afternoon sun. After that it became a rout, the vermin fled defeated...
