Name: Darkwing
Gender: Female
Species: Crow
Status: Wandering
Weapon/s: Beak and claws
Appearance: Darkwing is charcoal-black and about 21 inches in length. She has a fan-shaped tail and flies with a slow flapping motion like all crows do. Darkwing has a stout, black beak with which she will rip at a foe's flesh, and her claws are neither long nor short, but sharp nonetheless. She wears a necklace of slain enemies teeth and claws, though how she got it on remains a mystery. Darkwing's wingspan is about 30 inches, as she is not an especially large crow. But don't let that fool you, she still is as fierce and territorial as the larger of her species so don't let her catch you in her forest! Darkwing has small, fierce black eyes that are almost always sparking with a challenge or fury.
Personality: Like most crows, Darkwing is a fierce fighter and very territorial. She will attack both goodbeasts and vermin. Darkwing is savage and speaks somewhat primitively. Though sometimes she can be kind, giving directions to lost travelers and such. Once befriended, Darkwing is friendly and has rock-solid dependability and will be more then happy to help with whatever her friend needs. She is not good at making snap decisions, but when she does make a decision to do something, she stands firm until the end, so don't get in her way! Whenever there is trouble, Darkwing will always be right behind you as long as you're a friend of hers. Her only fear is water, and she will balk away from streams and such.
Background: Darkwing has had quite a bit happen to her in her fairly short lifespan. Her parents were two fierce warriors named Leopardfeather and Thunderstrike, and she had four other siblings named Lightningbeak, Stormwind, Thornfoot and Losthope. Darkwing grew up in the Mossflower woods, learning to defend her territory and otherwise fight with the best of them from her parents. Unfortunately, a horde of vermin tramped through the crow's part of the forest, and the crows tried to chase them out. But these vermin were skilled archers and easily picked the crows off, hitting Darkwing but not slaying her. As she went down, she landed in a river and almost drowned, hence her fear of water.
