Garrick's eyes lit up, but it was with mixed emotions. "That would be somthing of a dream, Lord Stripetail. Though, needless to say, up until now, my incounters with magic have been distasteful, and I would hesitate to desturbe my father.." Haydn looked hopeful, but Garrick rested a paw on his shoulder, "As much as I would love to speak with our father again, I would worry that it would drain your magic.. is that wise considering what may be ahead?" Garrick hadn't talked this much in a very long time. hayd noted this, and realized he was beginning to see his brother unhindered by Mara.

If the dead creature is successfully summoned, there is no power lost.' Stripetail replied. "Besides, I've done it before, and in the rare times I have been unsuccessful, My power loss has been limited and temporary." His voice was full of confidence, of that of an seasoned expert in his craft. "You would be very correct in worrying, Garrick, if you were dealing with someone less powerful and less experienced in this sort of thing.." His eyes twinkled."What is your father's name?"

The brothers looked at eachother, then Garrick turned back to the Seer. "I have no reason to doubt you Seer.." The wolf lay a paw on his newly healed arm, then answered somberly. "Pharel. His name was Pharel A'Run....."

Pharel A'run, is it? Thank you. I won't summon him right away. I'll give you time to think of questions to ask him. Haydn, For one, I'm sure will have many questions" Stripetail smiled. "But for now, Let's go get ourselves some dinner. I'm sure both of you are famished" (BTW, Pharel will be yours to coontrol Gyre

Sek-Raktaa remained silent during the whole small conversation, figuring it would be better that way. Due to various events in his pasts, the monitor lizard rather disliked necromancy. In fact, he hold a personal grudge against necromancy, though he figure that merely trying to talk to a deceased and ask him question was alright. Well... Maybe not alright, but maybe tolerable.

Ripfang stood before the tapestry,"Well, what about it..." He looked at Martin in the scene all at once he blinked and was beside Martin."Who!? Martin, but how?"
"No time for that, you warned of one evil but you are oblivious to another. Look through the eyes of the forest itself to see what you cannot."
Ripfang blinked and thingyed his head, when he opened his eyes he was back in the abby."Through the eyes of the forest? Sounds like a spell to me...lets see...eyes of an eagle, eyes of a fish..." Ripfang was running through the spells in his head,"Eyes of the forest...Thats it. Now think, what do I need. Water of a pnd, scale of pike, and the seed of an apple."

The wolf smiled thankfully. "I like that idea very much," Garrick got up and opened the door and held it for everyone, using his arm with a satisfied smile.

"Stripetail!" Ripfang ran up beside the squirral,"Do you have the compnents to the spell, Eyes of the Forest? Martin's tapestry told me to look with the eyes of the forest to see what I can't. I think it means the spell." He looked at Stripetail and waited for a reply, hoping he had the components.

"Slow Down Ripfang, you're speaking too fast!" Stripetail turned and frowned at him."The Eye of the Forest Spell I mastered is different, and requires different ingredients. It requires bark, a stone, and the skin of three stoats. so you need, A apple core, water from a pond, and a scale from a pike? You can get the first two from the abbey pond and the kitchen, heres the scale you need" Stripetail said pulling out a small pouch and pulling out a small fishscale.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mara coughed. Darian was growing very suspicious. "Listen fox, I am in a hurry.. Will your Seer friend wait? Mara needs medical attention, I will not have her standing in the cold rain all night." The badger stepped out of the drizzle and suddeny became an imposing figure, behind Darian.
"Aye thanks!" Ripfang took the scale and ran off towards the kitchen, he grabbed and apple and ran out towards the pond. He looked at the apple and in a few quick bites was just the core,"Plegh!" He spit out the seeds after biting down on one. He stopped by the pond and drew his halbred,"Now lets think." He threw the core and the scale into the shallows and stuck the halbred's blade in the water."I wish to see that like the forest, eyes of green and eyes of foilage, give me this power to see as the trees and let me see with haste!" The halbred's runes flashed bright blue as the water boiled and churned. Suddenly the whole pond looked like a mirror, but in it was not the sky or the fish, it was the forest...
A large imposing figure stood in a small clearing, bodies littered everywhere, hares, the creature was a wolf, but a giant one. Standing two heads taller than Ripfang or anyother wolf Ripfang knew, but he knew this wolf, he hated this wolf."HAHAHA!" Bloodfang cracked his giant paw as he looked at the dead hares,"Too easy, I need to find a challange." His eyes were pupiless, but he saw everything, his eyes lost color along with his sanity. But he knew enough to know that magic was spying on him, he took a big whiff of the air,"Ripfang? My son, but I killed him, hmmm, ah yes his sister was a she-witch like there mother. I guess she did it, sacrificed herself to save him, as there mother tried with me, but she failed." He turned and looked in the direction of the abby, it was a good ten days march, but he would make it in five."See you soon son." He took off tearing through the trees and underbrush tearing headsized chunks out of the trees as he ran.
"No...no...NO!!!"Ripfang tore his halbred through the water and destroyed the image,"He's here. He's comming! NO!!!" Ripfang ran towards the greathall as fast as he could knowing his father would be here in the next few days.
----------------------------------------------------
Krolmlaughed,"So the wee lass can't stan da rain eh? Well thas all fine. I can give ya two days, no more. Over by that clearing." He pointed to the west,"Bout fiddy paces to it. Theres a stream so you will hear it afore's ya see it." He turned and disappeared into the rain leaving behind a haunting sound on the wind that would not go away,Two days....
darian watched the fox leave, shouting as he dissapeared i teh rain. "We'll see buddy.. I'll come when I'm well and ready.." Though his words were brash and sure, the fox's voice didn't sound so sure. the badger, Sloan, turnd to Darian and Mara. "Do you wat one of us to go in your stead, Lady Mara?" the young badger was more then willing to do all he was able, but Mara shook her head. "Don't get hurt over this sloan. I'm not concerned about this Sholm, and i don't want it bringing discord to the army.." She glanced over her shoulder at the troops, stading patiantly in teh downpour. "We'll do what they've asked. Two days it is." She turned to Darian and nodded. "let's get to this Brigg.." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "It's been quite a while, Darian..." the old medicine-badger said hoarsly. She was an anceint figure, stooped and leathery under her mounds of draping skins and shawls. Her paws shook as she held the candle out, looking at the faces that surrounded her. The flame shook as well, casting a fitful over the dripping faces of Darian, Mara, Sloan and the young mouse warrior. They all sat about the large dan, drying their fur and clothes, but they looked up whe Brigg held her candle out to Mara. "Now," she said, "I can tell right now you need a lot of help young wolfess..."
