Redstripe and the hares he took with him came out from the south side of Salamandstron and was met with the enemies."EEEEEUUUUULLLLLAAAAALLLLLLIIIIIAAAAA!!!!" He weilded an axe in each hand hacking at the enemy while the hares fought like mad beast. Two hares closed the gates behind him to keep out any vermins attempt to enter.
Grisk struck down a rat with his scimatar and looked towards the mountain hearing an explosion, he saw flames."What in the name of..." He was cut short by a charging vermin who he swiftly took care of with a left hand jab to the gut and a roundhous kick to the face. He looked over in time to see Katarn-Revor kneel down."Blasted seers and their magic." He bolted towards him cutting down enemies as he ran. When he saw him he was not taken aback, Katarn was not the first crocodile he had seen. The first thing he noticed was he was smaller than the other crocs he had seen, not as muscular, but still a fearsome sight."Now you bally croc stand and figt!"
"Scarback, the one called Redstripe, t'would be wise to avoid him. He would kill you in seconds." She turned and looked down at the battle."Would you like me to cast my spells?" She didn't wait for an answer, she raised her paws to the air and said a silent prayer causing wind to blow the Long Patrol's arrows off course sending the arrows back towards the mountain."That will last a good while before it lets up." She pointed to a weasle,"You, fetch me some wine, I need to gather my strength, spells like that are not easy to do."

(One question, Psychomantid: Do you have plans with Grisk or is he supposed to fall in battle against Katarn-Revor?)
Katarn-Revor's gaze shifted towards the hare charging him. He seemed to be an experienced warrior. And he was after Katarn-Revor's skin. He grinned, rose up and presented himself in all his glory. "Very well, hare." He said accepting his challenge. "I am Katarn-Revor of Everglades. Just in case you want to tell your god who beat you." He introduced himself and hurled an ordinary fist sized fireball at him.
(I know the Everglades are a real location and home of alligators and not crocodiles, but from what I've seen about the area it seems to be the perfect home land for my character. I hope you don't mind me using the name Everglades for Katarn-Revor's native marsh lands.)

(You can use it... Jujst make up a fictitious part so he can call home..) Rain began to fall as storm blew in from the ocean. This made keeping one's footing diificult. _ Scarback looked at Shoum. "Keep casting spells. Even if you grow weary.. Your five, protect the Seer. I have use for her.." The nearby vermin saluted. Scarback stayed Back and Drew Arrows from his quiver. He lauched a flurry into the opposing lines but with the rain falling it was difficult totell if they were killed or just wounded.

(That's what I had in mind. It's supposed to be a marsh land like the everglades, surrounded with a vast jungle. A place fitting for crocodiles. Thinking about names is hard though, and honestly, I didn't had any better idea. I might change that in the future if I can think of something better.)

(Nah, I just trhew him in to progress the story. I figured that he could die against Katarn-Revor. Thats why I had him single him out.)
Grisk laughed," It is your god who would like informing about your death, lizard!" He rushed foreward swinging his scimatar at Katarn's mid torso.

(Very well. Then he will fall fighting Katarn-Revor.)
"Big words from a weak bunny-rabbit." Katarn-Revor replied, preparing himself for the attack. He didn't even try to evade the coming attack. Instead, he raised his arms to block the coming attack of the scimitar. A loud, clanging noise echoed throughout the battlefield as the scimitar blade crashed into a shield of purple magical energy.
The blade itself didn't harm Katarn-Revor. It didn't even scratched him. But the force and sheer power of the attack pushed him back and down, and he had serious problems to maintain his stance. The fact of the hare starting to push him didn't help much either. However, he somehow managed to keep his balance and gave the hare a challenging smile. "That all you got?" Katarn-Revor taunted.

Rosepaw Was Firing a a volley of arrows into the left side of the enemy flank. She was standing near the main enterance to the mountain along with around 2 dozen others. She was a good marksmaid, she had already killed a dozen or so...

Grisk laughed,"I'm not even trying you disgusting reptile!" He pulled his scimitar back and and sent a feint jump kick with his right paw connecting with the purple shield and jumping over it, dropping low to the ground with a leg sweep to the back of Katarn's feet.
Redstripe was killing countless, his two axes taking nearly five vermin a swing. During the heat of battle he forgot his speech lessons and went back to his rustic savagry."Aye tis one twill be urtin in da mornin dere! Ahaha!" He caught a rat in the gut just right to send him flying over his comrades heads and ontop of a few of them. He looked around at the hares gatthered in a circle,"Only one urt an tis jus a wee little scratch." He noted the hare in the circle bleeding from his knee."Well now boys jus keep on a fightin till the last one canay stand!"

Caught by surprise, Katarn-Revor fell to the ground but managed to roll away in time to bring his shield up once again to block the deadly scimitar. The crocodile gritted his teeth, as he tried to push the scimitar back and felt his strength weaken.
Then he caught the hare by surprise as he lashed out with his tail. The tail connected harshly with the hare's leg, and although it wasn't enough to bring him down, it was enough to distract the hare. One moment of distraction was all Katarn-Revor needed.
With all of his strenght, he managed to knock the blade slightly sideways. It was enough for Katarn-Revor to remove one his claws which he had used to support the shield and to aim it at the hare.
Instantly, a powerful bolt of lightning shot from the crocodiles outstretched claw, hitting the hare square in the chest and piercing through fur, flesh and bones. The hares eyes widened, staring somewhat disbelievingly at the hole in his chest. Smoke emitted from the scorch marks around it and the smell of burned flesh hung in the air. The hare gasped, tried to say something and then simply collapsed.
Katarn-Revor breathed a sigh of relief, pushed the corpse of him and got up to his feet again. He had been careless, had underestimated the hare which would have nearly cost him his skin. In the end though, it was Katarn-Revor left standing. He would have to be a little more careful around hares in the future.

Redstripe saw what had happened to Grisk, he and Grisk were mates. He stared at Katarn and charged knocking vermin to the left and right. He stopped behind Katarn,"Turn you vile creature so as I can send ye back ta the gates of the dark forest." he weilded his Mithril axe with both paws and stared at Katarn. Redstripe was easily as tall as Katarn, since as Redstripe could tell he was shorter then he should seem. Redstripe was already in bloodwrath with slight control, he kept enough control to value his honor, and not strike Katarn in the back.
(Redstripe is not to die, but like it could be one of thouse huge battles were both of them barely leave with their lives. K?)

(*shrug* If you want.)
Katarn-Revor gritted his teeth, glancing at the badger. "A badger." He stated the obvious fact. He took his time to turn around, examined the badger in front of him. He looked to be a powerful warrior.
He raised his right claw and summoned a fist sized fire ball. "So be it. You'll regret challenging me." He said, his eyes turning to sliths and hurling the fire ball towards the badger.

Redstripe swung his axe knocking the fireball to the ground,"Now don't go thinkin that I don't nay ow ta block magic, I've been around a lot longer than you." He thought back to his time learning magic, he remebered the otter seer that told him Mithril was a powerful material that can deflect magic. Thoug he only found enough for his axe."Now, can ya fight me without yer magic or is that all that a weak lizard like yerself can do?"
"I cast spells only when the spiritual bondries will allow them, yes though, some spells like simple fireballs and such can be done almost at will since they are always available. But as of now, there are no spells open, if I were younger they would be but I now need strength." With that Shoum turned and grabbed the wine the weasle brought her and took greedy gulps.

"Aye, in a way. But I am acually stronger in magic than when I was younger. Its just not as much stamina and dexterity. But when you are 388 seasons old its natural." She grinned evily, she still had most of her fangs."Would you like to know the secret to youth?" She asked casually as her hand reached under he cloak.

Katarn-Revor growled and gritted his teeth in frustration. Mithril. "You can't keep on blocking all of my spells." The crocodile replied.
He grinned evily, as an idea crossed his mind. The crocodile slowly lifted his right claw. An eerie red light suddenly appeared in front of him. It floated in the air, formed like a crystal and orbited by another light of similar collar which circled the centre light like a snake.
Suddenly however, in the centre of the crystaline light, a shade started to appear. The shade rapidly grew in size, becoming more solid by the moment. After a couple of more moments, the light at last vanished and revealed a terrible monster.
The monster was huge, reptilian and heavily muscled. Horrible talons adorned the creatures hands and feet, while a ray of horns and spikes run from the top of its head down its back to the very tip of its powerful tail and a pair of lavender eyes, devoid of anything but single minded ferocity, scanned the badger in front of it.
The creature lifted its crocodilian head up, showed its mighty teeth and roared its challenge out towards the badger warrior.
"Let's see how you perform against my daedroth." Katarn-Revor noted, the very moment the creature charged.
