(This is based on the map in Pearls of Lutra) ::Near the shore a river flows with buildings littering the premises.:: Lask- This will make a good camp for now. :: Lask orders his beasts to make camp there. He sends a command to the ships to sail up the river and weigh anchor. Some men make camp on the ships and are awake in shifts. Longbowmen line the rails of the ships, making a formidable barricade on the river. Lask camps in the middle of his forces, which are in a delta formation::

Samkin had gone too retrieve some scallops to celebrate otter apretiation day. With him came a young badger that had been found in the forest two seasons back. The badger was called Brock tree because he was found near brockhall. Brock tree's keen ears heard the vermin even though they were over a league away. He immediatly drew his Halberd witch had been formed by special drift wood. It was of the same make as Lady Red Eyes. He told Samkin who drew his bow. they snuck behind a tree in the vermin camp and forged a plan. Samkin notched an arrow and climbed a tree. he let loose a rain of arrows running through the trees as he did in orderto doge attacks. Brocktree charged the encampment killing the sentries, but after killing them he was shot by an arrow then twice then three times. The bloodwrath flowed through his veigns killing a quarter of a score of vermin with every swing. He killed over 2 score of vermin before retreating. He pulled out the arrows and said "55", martin said in a a joking voice "I only got 53"he grabbed the three arrows and fire them into the camp 3 screams pierced the night. "Make that 56" he said with a smirk on his face. A young voice came from behind them "It bain't roight to laurf about kiliin verminy thoingles. Samkin spoke without turning "it ain't right to come when your told not to Gombel." a dibbun mole stuck it's face around a tree. The mole had supplies of food a small kithen knife and a sturdy leather vest making him look like a warrior. "Were did you get all that" asked Brocktree accusingly. "When oui got the flu i saved my vikkles. The swrod is moui ol dad's cookin knif. and moui armouir is moui smoiks toid together."he said. Samkin immediatley said "you seem to have been preparing for battle." "Aye he'll a battle if we don't get outta here." And so they left to find someplace to stay.

Suddenly, a large vermin badger bounded out of the darkness, carrying a large sapphire encrusted sword and a javelin. He suddenly attacked the trio, pinning Samkin to the ground before he could blink an eye. "Nobuddy move," he growled, "or dis worm gets it."

Stripetail jumped down from a nearby tree and walked up to the vermin. He pulled out his staff and whacked the vermin over the head . The Badger fell forward onto Samkin, his sword and javelin fell harmless to the ground. He was out cold. "Bet he didn't expect that." He said with a smile. He put his staff away and picked up the sword and javelin. These are good weapons,he thought. He put the sword through his belt and used the javelin to push the badger off of Samkin. Stripetail's eyes gleamed as he helped Samkin up. Lord Stripetail

Loud Screams filled the night. "Retreat! Let's get out of here!" Figures of vermin fled north, away from redwall. He turned and walked towards the ancient abbey. Lord Stripetail

As Lord Stripetail was battling the vermin, Lib and the others ran towards Redwall, covering their ears as the vermin screams rang through the night. Suddenly Samkin tripped over a stray tree root and crashed into Lib's back. "Wot was that jolly well for, ya great blundering oaf?" the hare asked as he rubbed his sore back.

Stripetail put his sword and staff away and began running . He soon caught with the others. "I've driven them off. In the morning we'll examine the camp. I'm sure I put a good dent in their numbers, and they won't be back for awhile. But now let's go to Redwall. Rushing ahead of them, he was the first to reach the abbey, whose doors were open. Kibbles the otter was the first to notice the crew of creatures approaching the Abbey. Swiftly, he hopped down a flight of stairs and found his friend, Hill Nimmun, the oldest vole in the Abbey. "There's a little gang of beasts acomin' this way, and one of them is ours." Hill smiled. "Libbleus, perhaps?" The large grey otter nodded. "A couple of warriorbeasts are with him also. They look a tad bit scratched up by the looks of it. Should I tell Rebbon?" Rebbon was the unofficial commander of the Redwall army. "Yes, you probably should." Hill said.

Stripetail waited patiently for the others to catch up. As he was waiting he looked around the abbey. "so this is Redwall...' he muttered to himself. Lord Stripetail

Abbot Calmen greeted the travelers and Lib with a broad smile. "Welcome, newcomers, welcome. I am Abbot Calmen, but everyone here just calls me Abbot. You are welcome to stay here as long as you like, as long as you remain peaceful and only fight in self-defense." He peered over his glasses at Stripetail. "Who are you and your companions?"

The Abbot nodded slowly as he spoke. "I have heard your name many times before, Lord Stripetail, and I assume everyone else here has-" Before he could finish speaking, several Dibbuns ran through the crowd that was now forming around Stripetail and started throwing small mudballs at Lib, making odd gurgling noises as they exausted their supply. "My, my, dear babes, wot's this all about now?" Lib hollered over the splattering of the mudballs, "Yore poor Uncle Lib never did anythin' wrong, wot wot?"

He turned to the Abbot, This is the first time I've been here, through I have heard of it, many times. I was traveling down fron Noonvale, and they spoke of it often." Lord Stripetail

As the dibbuns ran off, Lib turned to Stripetail with a deep frown on his face. "Wot's so humorous about it, old chap, wot?" The Abbot ignored Lib and turned to a young white field mouse standing to his left. "Whitestar, would you mind showing our guests to the infirmary? Some of them appear to have a few injuries. Also, could you ask Dergo about rooms for them?" Whitestar smiled and nodded. "Of course, Father Abbot!" she squeaked before grinning at Stripetail. "Follow me!"
