I think it's just running like cross country, or the 800 meter, or the 100 yard dash, basically track I think. I myself shot put I suck at it though then again I suck at everything

Running isn't really that much of a sport....atleast I don't think so. It's about as much a sport as walking or hiking...which I love but my knees don't. I would have to say that long distance hiking over difficult terrain requires more endurance than any running activity. I've done some pretty rough terrain. I don't think anything can beat hiking a 2 mile class 5 trail in the dark with only one flashlight. Now for those of you unfamiliar with a class 5 trail, it's pretty rough with lots and lots of obsticals like jagged or loose rocks, steep inclines, hazardous footing and such. Not exactly something that you'd do at night. Running is for the weak, hiking is for those who mean business.
