OOC: Yes, someone join in now please. Need...action...jumpstart...
The lupine beast rose, watching Ritari leave. He still felt strange, like something was out of place. Then, Xylon realized; he had gotten used to the weasel's company. He spent most of his travels alone and didn't franchise with other creatures, but Ritari had been...energetic. Exuberant. Taking a step forward, the wolf made in her direction, trying to see past the leaves.

OOC: yay! NOOOOO! *runs after ballistic missile stall*
Hei had been sitting in a nearby tree listening to the smaller weasel try to pry(I wanted to write: listening to the smaller weasel try to weasel...) information from the wolf, to no avail. Neither the subborn wolf or the obstinate weasel would give quarter. Scowling, he dropped into the clearing. "Excuse the interruption, boys," then, taking a closer look at Ritari, "er... and girl, but this argument seems to be going nowhere, and I don't think this wolf is comfortable giving such information, so er... just slacken off on him." Hei was bad dealing with otherbeasts, and he knew it, but hoped he didn't sound too pathetic.
OOC: I'm a horrible RPer, as everyone, especially Xylon, knows. I am extremely unoriginal, so 'god' help me

[ ooc: YAY ACTION JUMPSTART! ... teehee. Xylon used the word "franchise" ]
The sound of another beast's voice made the small weasel round on him, dagger instantly drawn, lip curled. She was not in the mood to deal with another stubborn beast. The fact that he'd mistaken her for a boy didn't matter - it happened all the time - but the fact that he was trying to join in on her problem made her furious. "Excuse me? And just who do you think you are to be adding in your thoughts? I didn't ask for 'em, and I certainly don't want them! If he's not gonna tell me, then I'm better off leaving, anyway!" She shot Xylon a withering look, then moved it onto the new creature, part of her hoping for confrontation.

OOC: *Laughs*
Stopping and turning to the tree, Xylon's eyes narrowed slightly and he bared his teeth in apprehension, giving a low growl. Looking from the dark squirrel to Ritari, the wolf didn't speak, waiting for somebeast to do something.

Hei watched the little weasel. She was quite small, but sometimes the best fighters were short and quick. She seemed agressive, and willing to pick a fight. Per the fact that she sported a dagger in her hand, Hei let his paw casually drift towards his katana hilt, the other paw already resting on a medium dagger.

She straightened her stance, but let the dagger dangle in her paw. As long as she knew where it was, she could access it quickly. The weasel sniffed lightly, seeing where the dark squirrel's paws moved. She might get her fight afterall. For once, she didn't care how badly she got hurt. Ritari was far too frustrated at everything to let something like pain stop her. In fact, she mused silently, pain might be a welcome distraction from her current feelings. Her eyes flicked over to the wolf before resettling on the other. An amusing situation, really. She shrugged and poked her other paw with the dagger, a bit bored by talking. "I asked who you were, beast."

Xylon looked sideways at Ritari, measuring the distance between them. His left paw slithered to the back of his belt and slipped out a kunai, holding it down-sided.

OOC: Bad xylon... hurting little girls... "who I am is of no consequence to you," then noticing the kunai in the wolf's hand, and seeing the look on his face, he tensed, although almost sure that the knife wasn't meant for him.

[ ooc: Good Xylon, hurting little girls! Heck, good whoever hurts my little Ritari. *a bit odd, yes* ]
She had stopped paying attention to the wolf, mind shutting him out. For now, she could barely keep herself occupied enough with the feeling of her dagger in her paws, rather than leaping at the dark beast to start a fight. Ritari would much rather start it with words. "Then tell me why you thought it a good idea to voice your thoughts," her voice took on an edge, one that made it clear she wasn't leaving until she had an answer of some kind- verbal or physical.

OOC: *scooches away*
" 'Cause that wolf seems to be irratated with you, judging by the Kunai in his claws," Rather than pull uot his Katana, he let that paw hover near on of his own Kunai.

OOC: *Jumps on Darkaire happily*
His pale eyes snapping onto Ritari, the wolf snarled again. In truth, he wasn't sure who to use the kunai on. With his eyes still on the weasel, Xylon answered coldly. "I pulled the kunai out when you appeared, squirrel. Observance is vital."

"Actually, a bit later than I appeared. Don't tell me that distance-judging look at the weasel didn't mean anything, because I know otherwise."

She blatently ignored Xylon, smiling thinly. "You're probably right. It wouldn't be the first time he's thrown it at me," she said this smoothly, no hint of the goading behind the words. It didn't matter who she fought, wolf or squirrel.
[ ooc: *collapses under his weight* Oof. ]

OOC: *laughs*
"If you didn't die from that one, then I'm going to assume that there's no threat from him."

OOC: *Bounces joyfully* Heeheehee! Senpai is bouyant!
Backing up to a tree, the lupine beast took a good look at it. I recognize this...With a pang of realization, Xylon bent down and shifted the kunai to his lame paw, reaching into a hole among the roots of the oak. Trying to keep an eye on the other creatures, the wolf felt around in the dirt for something until he felt a soft fabric. This is it.
