As his father faded before his eyes, Haydn couldn't quite look away. He listened to the vague, inaudible words, and soon his father was nothing but a lifting shadow. Garrick looked over at Stripetail, "so... that's it?"

"Yes " Stripetail replied. Pharel's parting words were faint and hard to hear, but Stripetail interpreted them as a plea to save Mara. "He wants us to try and save Mara, which will not be easy Garrick, as you well know"

Now, with the act of necromancy being over, Sek-Raktaa felt good enough to once again return to Stripetail, Haydn and Garrick. "Well?" He asked, crossing his arms. "What did you find out?"

"He wants us to try and save Mara" Stripetail replied. "It won't be easy... and it will need everyone's involvement.."

Sek-Raktaa crossed his arms in front of his chest, sighing. "Well, from what I've heard so far, this won't be easy." He said, looking at Garick and Haydn and smiled reassuringly. "Though nothing's impossible. We will succeed." He said confidently.

Haydn smiled, tiredly. The days events, and the emotion was catching up to him. "I know we can do it," the young wolf said, glancing up at the moniter and the squirrel, "Knowing that doesn't amke it less daunting though.." Garrick silently squeezed his brother's shoulder, then stepped forward, and offered Sek-Raktaa a paw. "I want to thank you for helping my brother get this far.."

The monitor lizard took Garick's extended paw and shook it gradually. "I did what I could." He replied, bowing his head slightly in respect.

Garrick's smile was rare, and fleeting. His paw slipped from the moniter's claws, and he stood somber once more. "So, it is clear now at least," he muttered, as if to himself. He glanced at his little brother, then ruffled the fur on his head with a heavy paw. "I don't know if an army can be raised from these soft abby beats," he said, "but it seems it could be one of the first mericles that we need..." The wolf gazed around the quiet abby grounds, his eyes shining. "I don't want to bring a war here.."

This place has faced war before, and has come through it with shining colors. If war does come, you will see a great transformation take place. they residents will change into steely defenders of their home. I've seen it before...' Stripetail said looking up at the abbey walls.

"I have seen stranger things," Garrick said, following the squirrel's gaze. "What should we do, now?" hayden asked, "I mean, time is precious, right?"

"For now, we should rest." Sek-Raktaa said silently. "I guess it's been a rather busy day for each of us. Besides..." He noted to the dark skies. "It'll be futile to try and search by night. Maybe we could ask the abbey dwellers if they would help us and scout around for Mara."

Garrick nodded, "I think that's a wise decision. We should try to plan things out, maybe seek the aid of some of our avian friends to see where Mara and her band is..."

Stripetal nodded and turned back towards the main abbey building. "I suspect they are close by. so the birds won't have trouble finding out if my suspicions are correct. In the meantime, we need to rest. We have been set a difficult task, and time is not our ally. Let us eat some dinner, then we can rest."

"Sounds good to me." Sek-Raktaa said in a soft tone with his usuall hissing accent. "Is there any chance that they might serve any meat for dinner?" He asked Stripetail, who knew this abbey the best, out of curiousity. The monitor lizard hoped for a nice piece of meat instead a bunch of different fruits and vegetables. He was, after all, a natural carnivore.

The wolves wagged their tails hopefully, "some meat would be very, very welcome." garrick muttered, glancing at teh Seer.
