(I already thought something like that. No problem.)
The crocodile shrugged. "Sure, I don't mate as often as I did before. Then again, I've also come to kind of like this life-style. All this travelling around, seeking for adventure." He chuckled. "For example, there was this one time, when I..."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A couple of hours later, in which Katarn-Revor told various stories about his adventures, the pair of travellers and their prisoners arrived at the city. "Lagos." The crocodile said. "A good city, if you ask me. Although I've seen larger ones."
Entering the city wasn't that much of a problem either. Although the guards at the gates were slightly suspicious at first because of the bound rats in their towel, but eventually let them past once they recognised them as wanted criminals.
The street emitting from the gate was fairly large, crowded with beasts of all species. Shops were located left and right and their owners trying to lure future customers into their shop.
The headquarters of the city watch was a rather large and sturdy building, perfect to be used as barracks and prison. It wasn't that much of a problem to enter it, let alone find the head of the city watch.
The young vixen, clad in chainmail armour, was seated behind a large desk and sudying a couple of scrolls in front of them. Katarn-Revor cleared his throat, and the vixen looked up. Startled and annoyed at first, her gaze turned way friendlier once she recognised the crocodile and the rats he had in tow.
"Ah, Katarn-Revor, a pleasure to meet you again. You have a little present for me there, I presume?" She asked sweetly and the crocodile returned the smile. "Yes, I thought your prison to be a little empty. So I took these rats and thought to myself, that they would add a little colour to it."
The vixen laughed, then looked serious again. "I see only three of them. Where is their leader?" Katarn-Revor silently took the bag, pulled the severed head out of it and showed it towards the vixen who examined it emotionlessly. "Very well." She said finally and Katarn-Revor hid the head once again.
"Lieutenant!" The vixen called, and short moments later a younger otter appeared. "Yes captain?" The vixen motioned for the rats. "Take them to the dungeons, and please" she handed him the bag containing the severed head. "Flush that down the waste disposal." "At once, captain." The otter replied, saluted and left.
The vixen returned towards her seat and sighed heavily. "You may not be awarre of it, but you have done this city a great deed today." She said finally, somewhat tired. "These rats were bandits of the lowest sections, either harassing travelling merchants or selling drugs to the city's youth. We've got enough evidence to lock them up behind bars for a very long time now, and it's all thanks to you."
The vixen smiled in relief. "I pressume you want your reward now, right?" She asked, and handed the crocodile a rather large pouch filled with gold. The crocodile gladly took it. "Is there anyhting else I can do for you?" The vixen asked.

Tibbarius listened intently to the stories told by Katarn-Revor. They seemed interesting to say the least. At the best they seemed to pass the time quite well. Tibbarius wandered aimlessly following the big Lizard. With not a single question about the destination. When they had finally arrived Tibbarius was awe struck. He had never seen a village of beasts this big. Although he had not seen any village in reality. All he knew was the castle that stood over the once peaceful Sevanthia. He walked along side Katarn-Revor as they went into the area. The creature seemed to know exactly where it was going. Tibbarius just followed along as the newcomer he was. As they approached a vixen Katarn-Revor began a conversation.
Tibbarius yawned as the two started to talk. It was going to be a while before they were done. This was his though anyway. Tibbarius slipped out of view & began to explore the town. He placed the hood of his cloak over his head. Deciding it was not the best idea to get anyone’s attention. He walked along the road looking at all the shops. Although he could not read well. It was something a slave did not need to learn. He bit his lower lip as he continued on. He stopped at a small bridge crossing over a stream. He looked down at the crystal clear water. He let out a sigh as he stared into his reflection. “Why do I feel as if I am getting farther away from keeping my promise?”

Running throught the forest, Akeradies was moving at an alarming pace, esoecially for onw of his stature. The dimunative fox stopped, his some-what large ears catching every noise around him. He looked around, for he had not been in these parts. "Hmm......Never been here before. Where am I?" He wrapped his sand-colored cloak around him. He was about to continue, when he heard some laughing behind him. He turned around, seeing a group of about six various vermin. Two rats, one ferret, and three other foxes. He looked at all of them. "Good day, sirs. May I help you"

"Yes actually. Do you happen to know the location of a place called Redwall?" The crocodile asked the vixen in front of him. She blinked a couple of times. "You mean that abbey?" She shrugged. "It's not far from here. Though, it's a raher isolated place which was often besieged in the past. Just leave the city through the south gate and follow the road for ten days. It's hard to miss." The crocodile bowed his head. "Thank you very much, captain. Farewell." He said, and left.
"Did you hear that, Tibbarius? It's not that... Tibbarius?" It was only now, that the crocodile noticed the mouses absence. "Where'd he go?" Katarn-Revor asked aloud, scratching the back of his head. It's not, that he cared that much about the mouse. Though, he still owed him his share of the bounty as well as the directions to Redwall abbey. Shrugging, he decided to go and look for him. Who knows? Maybe he would even accompany Tibbarius. He somehow got the feeling that this might be the start of a great adventure.

Tibbarius stared into the water for some time before he came snapped back to reality. "I must find a way to free my family." He said as he turned around. Wondering if the two beasts were done talking yet. He walked down the road of the town. It wasn't long before he saw Katarn-Revor. Who appeared to be looking around. Tibby walked up to the creature known as Katarn-Revor. "What's the news?" Tibbarius said with a smile. He didn't know what kind of reaction he would recieve for walking off. However Tibb had never seen a place like this. He wanted to look around & took advantage of the conversation the vixen & Katarn-Revor were having to do some site seeing. Which helped him clear his head.

"Huh?" The crocodile spun around, slightly startled to see the mouse standing there. "There you are! I was looking for you." He said, immediately fumbling with the pouch.
"First of all, here's your share of the bounty." He said, handing him half of the gold. "And second, I now know where we can get to Mossflower." He raised his arm and pointed into one direction. "It's just leaving the city through the south gate and following the road for ten days." He shrugged. "Though I would suggest stocking up our supplies first."

The leader, a brawny fox, laughed in a deranged manner to his companions. "He wants t'know if he can help us! Yes, e'can. Give us all your valuables and vittles." Akeradies shrugged. "I'm sorry, but I have none." The other fox, who now looked like he was about to lose his temper, started running a finger across his spearhead. "Surely a beast wit a knife like that has vittles and valuables." Again, Akeradies. "I am but a humble desert fox. Now, I bid you good day." Akeradies turned to leave, stopping when a knife plunged into the tree beside his head. He turned around. The brawny fox had a somewhat crazed look on his face. "Now, give us vittles if you don't wanna be hurt!" Akeradies sighed. "I've told you time and time again, I don't have any." The large fox lunged at Akeradies. Akeradies quickly threw his cloak in the other fox's face, blinding him, and followed up with a blow to his opponent's jaw, spine, neck, and chest. "The other fox dropped like a rock. Akeradies pulled his cloak off him. The large fox had a dazed, confused look in his eyes. Akeradies looked him in the eye. "I suggest you stop pestering me before I get angry."

Tibbarius nodded in agreement as Katarn-Revor told him where Mossflower was. Redwall was in the woods of Mossflower from what he had heard. So that is where he had to head off. First he was told he had supplies to buy. Knowing the forest was 10 days away. IT seemed like a long walk. However he would not let that stop him. He had walked further then that. This time he would have provision to keep his strength up. "So where would I get supplies?" He asked Katarn-Revor.

The crocodile shrugged. "Your in a city." He said in return. "You get them practically everywhere. Just take your time and look around." He gestured around, wildly. "Food, weapons, armour and if you're lucky, even magical equipment. All that can be found here." He regarded the mouse with a curious look. "But say, Tibbarius, would you let me come along?"

Tibbarius looked around. He was lost as much in the city as he was in the forest. He looked around for another minute before he noticed a food stand. "Come along on my journey to Redwall? Well it will be a long 10 days. I could use the company." He said as he walked over to the food stand. It mostly contained vegatables, fruits & berries. Some which he couldn't find in the forest. He check over the produce for a moment before buying a few items. He paid the merchant before looking around for another place to buy supplies.

The crocodile smiled. "Great. You won't regret it." He replied, looking around. The street was lined with various shops of all kinds. "Maybe you should do something about your outfit first." The crocodile noted, looking the mouse over. "A nice set of armour helps you survive out there." He pointed towards a shop close to them. "Let's try there."

Tibbarius looked at an armor shop close by. He could tell what it was by the shield picture on the sign. "You think so?" He asked although he wasn't going to wait for an answer. He walked over to the shop with his share of the reward. He walked into the shop. The owner, an older otter. He walked up to Tibbarius. "Let me guess mate, ye are in need of some armor?" Tibbarius looked confused. "How did you..." The otter smiled. "T'is a gift I guess. Plus yer cloak is tatterered. As well as the fact that yer carryin' a sword. " Tibbarius laughed. "Well then have I come to the right place?" The otter nodded. "That ye 'ave mate, that ye 'ave. "

"Take ye time t' look around. I've got plenty of fine weapons, matey." The otter said gesturing at armours of all kinds scattered around the shop. Heavy plate armours, leighter chain armours and quality leather armours were scattered everywhere, either as full sets or mere parts.
"What'll ye 'ave, mate?" He asked Katarn-Revor as the crocodile entered. Katarn-Revor however declined politely with his claw. "I can't wear usuall warrior armours." He explained. "Do you have something suitable for mages?" The otter nodded. "Aye, that I 'ave, mate. At the back of the shop." The crocodile smiled. "Thank you very much." He replied poliley and went off to search for a new, mage-suitable armour.

At the back of the store was a seperate counter, set up for mages who wanted to purchase supplies. A large stoat sat at the count then rose from the chair "Looking for magical supplies eh?" his voice was barely above a whisper.

"Always." The crocodile replied in a somewhat cheery voice. "Show me what you've got."
