(XD Just click the italic "I" that's on the "Add Tags:" bar thing...then put what you want in between...if that makes any sense)
Bravespirit had to strain her ears to hear, as the otterbabe's voice was so faint it was hard to hear. Once she deciphered it, she shook her striped head slightly. "It's not somethin' against ya' word mate, I jus' don't believe in monsters." The badger said, thinking that Taggle had thought it was her not trusting him. Bravespirit blinked a few times, noticing something in the otterbabe's green eyes was not quite right. A sheen had come over them, and he appeared to be sick. Oh no...now what? The badger thought worriedly. "You all right mate?" She asked, wishing her twin would hurry back soon. Loyalheart, in her mind, could fix just about any psychical problem.

(All right! I don't think Wowsux is gonna be on for a while...so bringing in Arlan might be best *shrugs*)
Bravespirit glanced at Taggle's wound, and alarm flared up in her mind when she realized the otterbabe was losing blood. Fast. The badger chuckled halfheartedly at Taggle's comment about there being two of her, and subconsciously glanced over her shoulder. Since she and Loyalheart were identical twins it was not a rare thing for someone to mistake her for her brother, or the other way around, and when Taggle said this the thought occurred to her that he might be seeing Loyalheart peering over her shoulder. But no, her brother was not there and she saw nothing but woods behind her. Come on Loyal! Bravespirit thought, biting her lip worriedly. The badger continued her back and forth movement.

(ok.. enter arlan!) Taggle looked at bravespirit "whache look ova ya shoulder for.. be's lookin atta badger over dere.." he said, pointing over in the opposite direction. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Arlan brushed the shrubbery aside behind Bravespirit. He snuck up behind her, not realising taggle was in her arms and said softly " be there any reason that your standing here in the middle of nowhere miss?"

"I'm lookin' t' see if - " Bravespirit trailed off when she realized Taggle had said there was another badger, and she glanced over her shoulders again, looking for the badger the otterbabe was talking about. Not seeing anything, she turned back to Taggle. "There ain' a - " Again the young female was cut off by Arlan's voice from behind. Bravespirit jumped in surprise, and she swiftly, or as swiftly as she could with Taggle in her arms, turned to see what was behind her. "Uh..." Was all the usually in-your-face badger was able to say, as she was already a bundle of nerves from the run in with the bandits, and the sudden appearance of Arlan, while she was pretty much unable to defend herself, startled her.

Arlan smiled at her. " sorry if i startled you and the babe, i'm new to these parts.." he said but trailed off when he saw the arrow wound in taggles arm. " you need to get that looked at little one." he said, reaching toward taggle, but taggle pulled away. " no! it urt's 'nuf!" he said, not allowing arlan to touch it. Arlan thought for a moment, then acted if he saw something scross the glade. " look over there.umm.. little one and tell me what you see. my eyes aren't as good as they used to be." Taggle replied looking away from arlan, " me names be;s taggle and i no see nuffin-" wHAM! Arlan curled his paw and hit taggle on the shoulder, hard. Taggle went limp, his hands hanging limp at his sides. His eyes rolled back into his head. Arlan had sufficently knocked Taggle out. " there.. now we can take a look at that arrow wound" he said, his big shining broadsword with the sapphire hilt gleaming in the sunlight.

Hitchaw looked at Arlan,"Bad move mate, ye should not hit wee innocent babes like that." He held his javelin point towards Arlan.
Redstripe lowered Hitchaw's javelin,"Now Itchaw, I'm sure e ad an excellent reason ta strike an armless babe. Right." He big badger looked at Arlan, Redstripe was bigger yes, but he noticed that Arlan was a warrior and figured he knew what he was doing.

( taggle would say something but..well.. you know lol)
Arlan replied. " yes, i did. If the babe keeps that arrow in his arm he will die from bloodloss within the day. We need to get it out, and clean the wound." and with that, Arlan started to dig around in a pouch in his side looking for..something. " motherwort..duckleaf.. there! got it" he said, pulling out a strange northern plant.

Cody quickly ran to Loyalheart. Grabbing his paw, which even though he was a younger badger. His paws were bigger then th hares. With everything Cody had he could not move the badger if he really wanted to stay. "Sa I must say, I like a blinkin' fight as much as tha next hare, wot wot. 'Owever these blighters 'll 'ave us fer vittles if'n we don't get going." The hare said tugging on the badgers paw with everything he had.

Bravespirit blinked in bewilderment at the other, huge badger-wolverine hybrid. Her mouth hung open in surprise, and again all that came from her mouth was: "Uh..." And then she noticed that Arlan had struck, and knocked out, Taggle. She was about to demand a reason for this, when he answered her question for Hitchaw before she even got to ask it. The young female's mind whirled with mystification, all this was a lot for her to compute. Bravespirit dumbly watched as Arlan looked through his supplies, and produced a strange looking plant. "Er...ya' might want t' have him in a easier spot t' get to." She muttered, and, in her confusion, did the one thing that popped into her head and handed the unconscious otterbabe to Arlan.
Loyalheart blinked, mystified on how the snake that had been charging Cody would suddenly seem to disappear into thin air. His rapier point missed its mark, and drove deep into the earth, bending the thin blade when it would not go in any farther. Then the hare began tugging at his paw and talking to him, drawing him from the strange, furious state he had been in only moments before. The young male badger yanked his rapier out of the dirt and allowed the hare to take him away. "I'm comin'!" He barked dully as the hare tugged him along, his mind whirling with the idea that he had tried to use his weapon on a living creature. Never before had he done that, and never before had he had a reason to.

Arlan began to cleanse Taggle's wound. He pulled the remainder of the arrow out of taggle's arm without blinking. He crushed the strange plants into a pultice and put it on the wound, making it stick with water from his canteen and a dockleaf. When it hasd been sufficent;y cleaned, he handed Taggle back to Bravespirit. It had all taken less than 10 minutes.

Bravespirit watched with mild curiosity, her striped head tipped to one side. The young badger winced as Arlan pulled the remainder of the arrow out of Taggle's arm, and was glad for the fact that the otterbabe was unconscious. She did not like to see beasts in pain, as it reminded her of the awful scene she could remember as clearly as the ringing of a bell. But the female refused to think about that, and forced herself to watch Arlan's paws move skillfully around the wound, admiring how quickly he could do all this. It reminded her of how her twin would handle the cleaning and dressing of wounds. Bravespirit took Taggle back and cradled him in the crook of her arm, quietly wondering when the otterbabe would wake.

Taggle awoke, pain shooting up his arm from where the arrow was removed. He would be furious with arlan when he learned the truth... " wha' happen?" he asked weakly, his head spinning, He noticed his arm felt much better
Arlan could barely hide his grin. His healer talents that his mother had so dissaproved of had finally come in useful. " Arlan 1, nana 0! ha! take that!" he said inside his mind.

The Badger had been in a trance. He had tugged on the beasts paw for some time. He had heard of this. When a badger had nothing but death & destruction on thier minds. Nothing could stop them. yet Cody breathed a sigh when the badger finaly. "Ya fin'ly came around. Well le's go ta tha others. We 'ave a better chance gainst these blighter with their 'elp." He stated heading in the direction of the otter babe & the other badger went.

Bravespirit felt better once Taggle opened his green eyes, and she grinned broadly. "Master Arlan fixed ya' up mate." She explained quietly, for once keeping her voice down. Though it was for a silly reason, as the youngster thought if she scared the otterbabe he might faint again. Yes, that was the way Bravespirit thought. The silliest reasons for something you could think of, she could do better. The young female looked up at Arlan, her silly grin still in place. "Thankee!" She said, blinking gratefully. It was all she could think to say. In Bravespirit's mind, there was nothing else she needed to worry about now that she knew Taggle was all right. Then she remembered her twin brother, and a frown clouded her features.
Loyalheart blinked in confusion as he let Cody lead him away from the group, his rapier still in paw as he lumbered behind the hare. "I finally come around? What's that mean? An' I don't think they'll bother us any more." The wise youngster said, glancing back at the bandits before looking questioningly at Cody. The youngster carefully wiped the dirt away from the tip of his rapier and pushed it back into his too-big belt as they moved. Great seasons, I got a tale t' tell Brave once we find her. Loyalheart thought, allowing a very faint smile to slip across his features. The male badger was unaware of his sister's concern for his safety, though he felt a twinge if anxiety for a unknown reason.
(Eh...I gots a headache. I'm gonna take a break, buh-bye!)
