Bravespirit could not stifle a giggle at Cody and Loyalheart as they spoke to Taggle of these huge snakes, but quickly gained her composer, trying not to ruin it for the otterbabe. The female badger was, for the moment, silent as a stone, watching curiously as the hare and Taggle spoke to one another. Looking up at Hitchaw, Bravespirit waved with her free paw. "Hey 'itchaw!" The female badger called, then her eye caught the gleam of the otterbabe's green stone. Stooping, Bravespirit scooped it up in a large paw, straightened and gave the stone back to its owner. "There ya' go mate." The female badger said. Then the band of hares appeared. "Well now, 'ho are all these longears eh?"
Loyalheart had heard Cody, but did not respond save the slight nod of his striped head. The male badger raised his brows skeptically when Taggle seemed to have trouble recognizing an apple, and was about to ask when Hitchaw came back. "'ello 'itchaw." Loyalheart said quietly, still watching the otterbabe, his intelligent dark eyes looking for something. Ignoring the arrival of the group of hares, the male badger finally decided to ask the youngster what the rest of his home was like. "Tagg mate, wot was th' rest o' yer home like?" Loyalheart asked softly, curiosity and interest expressed in his dark eyes. The male badger was not normally this way, but Taggle's story intrigued him.

The otterbabe thought a moment. " it was cold. Vewwy cold. Dere wasn't alot uv trees, and no fwuit. lossa snow!" he explained, shivering. It was a cold bleak landscape. Hardly and trees, and the ground was cold and hard. There was snow.. always snow.....
Cody Swift followed the leader. The old hare saluted the friends with pride. His chest stuck out & his head held high. Cody stood a at the hares side & saluted in turn. He cleared his throat causing the other hares to line up & salute. It was a small group of only three young hare. The leader stood up & addressed the group. As he does the shortest hare of the three swipes a takes a stalk of celery from his supplies & starts chomping away as the old hare talks. "I am Archibald, Ruggable, Flitsworth. Commander an' chief o' this lot. This is Reginald." As soon as the old hare stops the smaller hare hides the celery behind his back. Archibald points to a fairly tall hare. Who's eyes were half opened. He was a lazy beast who did nothing in a rush. As he turns around the shorter hare starts chomping on the celery again. "That young miss. The strongest in the bunch is Nora." The stern, though lovely young hare maiden saluted. As the smaller one hides the celery again. Once more he starts chewing on it as the older hare turns around. Cody who is standing at attention is trying his hardest not to laugh. "Then there is Rackle... Rackle are ye chewin' on tha blasted celery again?" The short hare anmed Rackle puts the vegetable behind his back quickly & shakes his head. "Shno Thir." He mumbles with a mouth full of celery.
