"I think I remember you as well." he said, giving her a smile. "And I am more than happy to help in any way I can for this Spring Feast. I owe it to you all after all, and I think it's the least I could do." he said, giving a small bow again.
He turned to the squirrel now. "Oh and Lord Stripetail, I may have a request of you, before we get started with that."

certainly, what do you request of me?' Stripetail replied. 'As long as it is a reasonable request, and not say, send me to Sampeta.."

"Of course not. I've only been back there once, and the place is in absolute ruins. I have no intentions of returning. What I would like to ask however, is a... perhaps unusual favor. I'm fascinated by just how powerful of a mage you are, good sir."
Ladorak folded his forearms over his chest, then dropped them as he relaxed. "I'd like to see you use that spell of yours that you mentioned earlier. The one that can completely control a beast. I'll willingly let you do this, provided you break the spell a few minutes after you cast it. I'll be completely willing as well... you won't have to worry about resistance." the stoat said, giving the squirrel a nod.

given how much Blatz abused his abilities against you I am loath to do this' stripetail replied. you were controlled against your will for much of your life, he bound you to tampetra, so you could not leave it..even if you wanted to. as for my spells, resistance is not an issue. As i said ,the creatures of these lands, with very few exceptions have no magical abilities to speak of, so resistence is not there, let alone knowledge of how to resist spells.

"I... know." Ladorak said, thinking a moment on his answer. "He did bind me against my will, you are correct. I could not leave because of what he implanted in my mind. As for your spells, I have no doubt that they cannot be resisted. It sounds like a rather powerful magic after all. I guess you could say I was curious, is all."
He tapped a claw on his sword belt in a distracted manner, looking down at his footpaws and then up again at the squirrel. "I can understand if you are loathe to do it. I suppose the final decision rests with you."

why would you make such a request Auma asked " the seers powers are immense.. and he does not use them lightly, if you must know, Ladorok, i have seen him use them before he can make creature danced very difficult dances, sing in tongues long forgotten, and do physical feats those beasts could never do normally.. it is a great thing you ask of him..

"Let's just say..." He turned to Auma to address her. "My good madam, that it is a way of establishing trust. I let him have full control over me for a few brief minutes, and in turn, he gets to have this control. Then we revert to our former status quo, and go back to normal. I trust him to do this... I guess that's why I make this request." the stoat explained to her, hoping he came across in a clear manner.

"Sounds fair enough. Fifteen minutes then. Thank you, Lord Stripetail... for trusting me with this. And I hope to speak with Auma again, she seemed like rather the fine badger." he said, watching her depart before turning back to Stripetail.

Before i begin, is there any particular thing you want me to makle you do? Dance the corsair jig, or sing like an eagle? the seer chuckle.. " you'd better ask now before I put you under..

"Hmm... well I must admit, I don't know the corsair's jig, and I don't know eagle speech, but as you said the spell makes anything possible, I think I'll just leave it up to your discretion. Do you like being mischievous with those you bring under?" he inquired, giving the squirrel a small smile.
"Oh and... how... will I appear? Completely mindless, or will I look normal, but just not be in control of my own actions?" he added.

It varies based on the creature. some will be normal in appearances others will be vacant.. most of time I use this to turn evil creatures away from doing harm.. i rarely use it on goodbeasts such as yourself.. stripetail said gesturing and Ladorok became silent..

Ladorak stood still, relaxed, his eyes staring right ahead, but blinking much slower than normal. He no longer felt any conscious thought within him, only the voice of Lord Stripetail. The magic had been cast, and the stoat was now pliant.
He was still, only his chest and much slower blinking eyes indicating that he was still among the living. His ears were trained right on Stripetail, and everything about him appeared a mix of normal and also deep relaxation.

dance twirl and sing.. Stripetail commanded.. making a subtle gesture and a strong voice suddenly come out of Ladorak. a voice the stoat normally did not possess..

Ladorak immediately moved to obey the squirrel's command, and twirled on his footpaws, the pawpads acting as pivot points to cause him to spin. He started to dance, incredibly nimble and light as he moved, and belted out in a voice that was much stronger than his usual one. He started to sing an old pirate shanty, from his days long ago back on Sampetra. The bespectacled stoat cut quite the sight, as he normally was not possessed of such a strong voice (save for in battle), yet it did not warble or crack. It came out clear as a bell, and his movements were about as light as he feather.
